Saw a praying mantis at a city park (at night) a few weeks ago! Very rare to see them around here!

BTW, just posted cleaned up pics of this Indestro No. 19 set in the Indestro thread...
Yes. Thanks. Is that an evapo rust cleaning? Looks great!
Posted the wrong photo. The workbench is actually the reason I left the Athol vise on top of it behind. He wanted to sell the whole shebang. The bench is Hallowell (Standard Pressed Steel) and nice and had a hanging shelf system that went under it. It was just a little too much/big for me to deal with it right now, and I didn't feel like spending that much, either. I am going to post photos in the Metal Cabinets thread.EDIT - oh, maybe the workbench? Nice legs.
Is that a Bakelite Remington U.M.C. RH-4 sticking out of that sheath? Here’s what I did grab. The 1st photo is the pile,
Got a call from a guy who said he had a vise and anvil for sale, came home with these. Anyone have any ideas on the anvil? English? Early? About 150# and it looks like at some point it stubbed its toe

Yes. Thanks.
I picked up these today. I thought the design and seller saying Swiss made were both good. I haven't seen sockets designed quite like this.
I picked up these today. I thought the design and seller saying Swiss made were both good. I haven't seen sockets designed quite like this. Traditional sockets come to a point. Radius sockets come to a half moon. These are closer to how metrinch looks but these are just metric. I haven't found anything online about them but thought $25 was very fair.
Seller said, "They are Swiss made. Very early 2000’s. They were supposed to be used on a “historic” job in NYC , but job was shut down , contractor went out of business."
1/2" drive 10mm-32mm.
Every hear of the brand Stanlux? Good quality?
Interesting to me how the quick release mechanism works. The drive tang is setup just like the original Craftsman RHFT QR in ~1970 with the plunger pushing out the front.

Lugz, maybe some steam on the canvas while on the form?
S&A Pens? Desk tools? Can they pry themselves off the Laptop/Phone/Tablet to use anything "analog"?![]()
Anthony's sale? Listed as Estate?
Indeed. You now that's a Keystone Mfg set, right? I don't think we have one on the Keystone thread. You should post it there. It will get buried here on the GS thread.I didn't think I put it away as rusty as those first pics. I did a bit of cleaning first. Likely just WD40 and a bit of a brass brush. The huge difference a bit of TLC makes!!!
I used scalding hot water and mild Dawn. I have a thread with more pics going here. I didn't post pics after clean-up yet though.Lugz, maybe some steam on the canvas while on the form
