    Wiring a lighting contactor?

This is an option I used for an outdoor light by a hot tub because of proximity to water it was especially nice. But in testing I could use it all over my property. You can add many switches. http://www.lightningswitch.com/

Flashlights, Streamlight? Mag Light? Snap On?

I read all of the posts and expected to see the Surefire EL1, I think it's the perfect light, it has a backward clip so you can clip it on the bill of your hat making a headlamp, is small enough to have in your pocket all day, a thick glass Pyrex lens. It uses one CR 123a battery, I bought 2...

    Opinions on potential new product

I would think that this could be a better package as car and truck stands, stands with extensions. For me that would mean that being purpose built they would be the smallest possible form factor, yet I could use it for car and truck. Great idea. Just my $0.02.

Return of the Bionic Crowbar! You can get them now!

I have this, the best thing about it is the handle is a slide hammer to get at buried fasteners, I don't think the Bionic does that.

good cheap tap and die sets metric

Tap and Die sets are typically thread chasers, not necessarily designed or intended to cut new thread. I would and have bought mostly cut and gun taps, some spiral and few dies.

    Ladder advice

I buy only type 1A ladders (orange typical), your life depends on them. It sounds like you are figuring weight of yourself and material. Also remember you would prefer 3 rungs above the roof line.

    Anyone else remember these?

I have one and like it. Yeah it's gimmicky, but I've used it for over 15 years, never rounded a nut, and it is great for certain things. Edit: I especially like this for a blind nut situation.
