Auctions, estate sales, & flea mkts, OH MY

I have that exact SO box. I've had it over 50 years and it was old when I got it and I still use it for my road box. I have a handled tray for the top section and a sliding tray that fits the lower drawer. It's a keeper.

I try not to scratch wrenches and I usually pick up old wrenches for rough work. Monday, I was backing my 4600 Ford tractor with my garden cultivator on the rear and a log chain attached to it. I ran over the chain with the wheel and it warped the plow frame bad. One side hits the dirt and...

    Moriarity's Lawn Mower

I remember the little oil/gas two-stroke was a great trimmer. When these were big and very inexpensive my family used an old electric motor model 18" cutter mower that was tough too keep from cutting the power cord and have sparks flying. I also remember using one like this and having to walk...

Snap-On KRA65 box with the sliding tray. All the talk here made me want one bad-like. I have this same box. Bought it forty years ago, from a friend that his dad had a shop. It was made to hold a Snap On valve seat grinder set, for stones, guides, and stone dresser. I got it and the SO valve...

In 1965 I worked a local independent auto parts supply store and we sold Blackhawk tools and S-K off the behind the counter tool boards. In 1966 I started work with the NAPA chain, Genuine Parts Company and they handled New Britian tools and Sparta tools was a second line. I think both stores...
