    Fedwrench's SEMA 2022 TOOL Observations

Hey Fedwrench, Not sure if I was in the booth when you stopped by, but it sounds like it wasn’t me you spoke with. Truth of it is, those ratcheting wrenches are frustrating us too. We’re all pretty cautious to give out a date and accidentally over promise and under deliver. They are a hard...

    Tekton is ridiculous...

The other ratcheting components will not be interchangeable.

    Tekton is ridiculous...

Dave with Tekton here. It’s hard to quantify “feel” when it comes to warranty, but if something isn’t working with it - just contact us at www.tekton.com/tool-help and we can help. Also, we are releasing a split beam style in the next month or so which will operate a little bit easier for...

New tekton flex head 90 tooth ratchets

The new flex-head ratchet total lengths are 15" for the 1/2" and 12.9" for the 3/8". We name them based on working length from the drive tang, rather than the total length. All the measurements are on tekton.com. We’ve also greatly increased the tension on the flex head joint. Dave...

Icon tools are coming spring/summer 2019

Hey Fedwrench, We have these longer straight flex-head ratchets coming in the next year or so. They will be 12.25"" for the 3/8 drive and 14.25" for the 1/2" drive. We measure the length from the center of the drive tang to the handle end, rather than tip to tip as most do. Dave [email protected]

Am I Being **** or Should I Make a Stink About this Tekton 3/8 Torque Wrench?

Hey Cal, With each wrench being individually calibrated, the exact relationship of the handles edge to the hash mark can vary about a credit cards thickness. This can be exaggerated with the viewing angle, but it’s fairly common. That is why we stress that the centerline of the tool be your end...

New hard handle screwdrivers from Tekton

We make these screwdrivers, but not in a traditional sense. Rather than start to finish production, we work with a variety of partners along the way while maintaining strict control of production. One partner may handle the blade, another the handle, and we stay involved in the process along the...

    Tekton Ratchet....Wow!

It should be noted bending is only going to happen when abused with a pipe well beyond its means. There is a balance of hardness to ductility on the material that works out for the best wearing tool. This is usually best seen in a wrench or ratchet that bends, but comes back. However, at a...

    Tekton stubby wrong size?

As others have pointed out, it is within spec at 14.25. I would confirm you don't have a 9/16's fastener. If you're still having trouble just contact us for help at tekton.com/tool-help. Dave [email protected]
