Hey guys so I have this maxjax and its amazing but there is a catch. I've got to do something about the lines. I haven't needed to move the column closest to the wall (call it column A) since I installed it a couple months ago but the one in the middle of the garage (lets call this column B)...

Was this just for framing and can I remove it?

A couple of these are on my walls and need to be dealt with before I can put up sheetrock. I have 6 22 foot joists going front to back holding the walls up and two pieced together joists above those with some braces in the attic. Thoughts from the experts? Thanks!

going T1-11 with walls should i insulate them now?

I've decided to not do sheetrock for my walls because I want something that looks a little nicer but mostly a better surface to reflect the light asap. I don't think I need insulation right now because I'll just be venting through the attic and using fans for now. Its a small garage 22x23x8...

    Drilling through rocks and rebar?

hey guys, I'm embarking on my journey to install the maxjax and I think I hit some rebar. Changing crossbeams?

Hey guys, my garage has 7 or 8 2x10's joists running front to back (each sitting attop the wall studs and connected to the roof) with two pieced together crossbeams on top of those. The roof is a four sided pyramid with a 25 degree angle. The 2x10's make the ceiling at 8ft and i'd like to get...

Hey guys I need to repair the lip of our driveway. A small portion is broken off and the rest of it is just about a 3-4 inches vertical drop. I'd like to fix the broken part and put a little incline to prevent further decay (as well as save some tire life). Does anybody here have experience...

Potential layout for new garage, what do you think?

I'm thinkin of doing the corner closet like this with the workbench in the free space. that will keep my front free for stuff like hoists and other things on wheels. Thoughts? the black and yellow things are the approximate locations for the max jax (yes, i've already let the wifey know :) )...

A few questions for my garage project.

I was talking about my plans for insulating and skinning the new garage when my dad suggested I use mold resistant sheetrock. The cost is like 3 times normal sheetrock and I'm wondering if its necessary. I won't be washing cars or anything inside of the shop. I plan on insulating and...
