Americans will do ANYTHING to avoid the metric system

Are you obtuse on purpose? Everything. Have you noticed how even American designed cars use mainly metric fasteners and engines are measured in liters? Aircraft are designed in metric units, etc. Those industries are prime examples of adapting to a global market place.

Americans will do ANYTHING to avoid the metric system

There are 7.2 BILLION potential consumers outside of the US versus our 327 MILLION domestic customer base. While our antiquated units of measurement don't prevent people from buying our products, it does lessen the demand. So... increased sales and possibly more jobs?

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Denver MCM garage expansion

Post 442 the larger of the two hoses at the thermostat housing. It might be the angle. I'm not sure if it is or not, it just looks odd to me.

Sorry about the issues, but you are doing great. Not to add to the list, but is the hose in the first picture bad? Also, at least with the switch repair you can disconnect the button to make it work. ;)

Have you thought about buying a paint sprayer for the ceiling? I'd think you'd get much better coverage and finish more quickly.

I remember those boxes being sold at JC Penney as a kid. I thought the racing stripe and and the drag wheels was too cool.

JDM, you could have 20 more pages of the house and I think we'd be fine. We all enjoy construction of any kind. I will admit some JDM car **** is always a good thing and I look forward to the finished garage. However, if you have stuff involving work on the house itself, please don't...

Your home is really coming along and I'm sure you are ready for it to be done. I loved those shutters when I lived in Germany. Mine didn't adjust and were always closed. I worked overnight and those made my bedroom pitch black and also blocked sound. I've always wished we had those here in the...

Things are looking good and I agree that baiting us with the Porsche pic has to be against the Geneva Convention. Question regarding the light switches by the door. Have you thought about swapping the white switches out for some black ones to make them disappear? Either that or see if you can...

I'd start a new thread. Since you'll have two places, will you move some of your E28s to SLC, or buy a new project to work on there?

Man, I love your updates - pure ****. I like the soda blasted panel and all the freshly plated parts are going to pop next to that blue paint. I think having that matte finish will help accentuate other parts of the bay.

That door is awesome. Don't do it, but a mouse sized door just a little further down would look too cool. Especially if it had a round door like a hobbit house.

That color is awesome! Is it a stock color for the car? I feel your pain on check-wrenching. I've farmed stuff out due to work constraints and I almost always feel like I could have done as good for less, but hey, in the end I had time to do other things. You know, like make more money to pay...

Twertsy, look at the box in the link I provided. It doesn't have the Remline Man, or Remline script on the handles. The holes on the black box look like they would align with the script Remline badge from the box I'm referencing.
