Celebrity Death Watch! Official RIP when they DIE thread...

Yeah, I can't say I care one way or other. Never really understood celebrity. They're just people who happen to work in some publicly known manner. When a celebrity dies, whether it's an actor, musician, or politician, I really don't much care. I mean, I feel badly for those who knew the...

Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Rudi's Datsun resto and late nights shed in Australia.

Nice! I always thought a BMW S54B32 from an E46 M# would make a great engine for an early Z. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your build!

Whether the ball was loose or not, it obviously has thick, unmixed paint on the bottom of the can. I use an attachment for my Sawzall to shake spray cans. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0055S7DJS/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Look out Knipex, here comes ICON!

My apologies... M635_Guy seemed to be implying you were too worked up over the whole thing. Generally, these sorts of statements are an attempt at gaslighting. They wish to make you think you must be wrong because you are obviously overreacting.

Look out Knipex, here comes ICON!

If you follow the thread, you'll see I was making a distinction between stealing a patented design and doing so after the patent is expired. I also wondered if the modification/improvement on the design Knipex made would keep the design under patent.

The whole "calm down," type of comment is just and attempt at gaslighting.

Anyone here build a fallout shelter?

Makes sense, since Radon is a byproduct of the radioactive decay of Uranium and the Radium contained within it (a process I don't really understand).

Look out Knipex, here comes ICON!

There is no perpetual monopoly. Make something that does the same job and bingo, you can compete. That the patent may have run out (though its being updated may keep it in force), and HF then went on to produce their version using the no longer patented mechanism is not a problem. But the...

Look out Knipex, here comes ICON!

Competition, is not using someone else's R&D dollars without their permission, then selling cheaper because they didn't have that outlay.
