New Cornwell Z Series 120 tooth Flex Head Ratchets

I found their old ratchets to be exceedingly strong, and had to warranty very few of them when I had my route. Can't speak for the newer, finer toothed stuff.

When they take the prostate out, they shave the outside of it and test that for cancer. This is the margin test. Obviously, you want "negative margins" (meaning there is no cancer found in the material).

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

It's a long-stalled project I hope to get back to sometime in the relatively near future. Nonetheless, when I find a part I want to use for a decent price, I get it so I have it when I do finally get back on the car. Along with the roof I want to use to make a hardtop, I also have an IRS from a...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Things I've done over the last couple weeks (I forgot about this thread)... Rebuilt the ram on a hydraulic splitter. Cut the roof off an old heap of a '70-'72 Cutlass to use to make a removable hardtop for my never-ending '442' convertible project. Put QD saddlebags on my Harely And no...

    Best stuff from Cornwell?

The issue is more with their pliers. Channellock will not warranty the pliers if the handles have turned green. Seriously.

Used paint guns, worth the gamble?

If the gun is clean ad sprays well, sure. Take the air cap off and unscrew the cup, there should be zero paint build up. The action should be smooth. Put some lacquer thinner in the gun and spray a piece of cardboard; the pattern should be smooth and even. As for price, a $1,000-plus...

    Let's see your toolbox.

White is the easiest to keep clean. Black is the worst. Everything in between varies according to how dark it is (the darker the color, the more dirt it shows).

    OTC 12 Ton Hydraulic Press

Would I pay $400 for an American made 12 ton press which sells for more than $2K new? Hmmm.... Hmmmmm.... Damned right I would! Don't let the Chinesium lovers fool you, that's a damned good press.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Chesnut Acres 1926 Dairy Barn (36x126)

I would think the dead short to ground that would have caused would have blown the fuse, though. Still, better to not find out!
