Ok that's not bad, I meant size as in 4ah 6ah ect. I have the 3/8" impact wrench and love it. Always have a second battery hanging out so I have had my eye on this for a while. Cheapest I see it is 49 shipped..anyone do better?
This is my current set. I use the 36mm often with no issues on 1/2" drive.
While we are on sockets I've never used this SO socket for anything but random jobs on the press..why is so shallow, about 6mm..
I bought the 4 drawer last week for 99 with a coupon. You can't do better for the money. Only downside so far is most of my screwdrivers and all prybars stick up to high to allow the top lid to close and lock. So at the end of the day I have to move them to another drawer to lock them.
I will...
I recently started working at a collision center. So I'm doing suspension work all day. I use my Makita rated at 210ft lbs all day. I only break out the DCF899 a few times a WEEK.. When you need it you need it..I would get the mid torque model
Only used it once today but it saved me atleast 10 minutes of aggravation..plenty of torque.
I'll try to keep this post updated with tight spots it excels in.
Looking into swivel or 360 air fitting for better maneuverability.
Yup, I got greedy and found the limits of the tool. This will be one area where the new 1/2" version should be much stronger. This should not sway anyone away from this tool..
After two years of faithful service I use way too much manual torque 80ft lbs+ if I had to guess and snap. I was going to wait for the fuel 1/2" to come out but I use this tool so much I can't wait..
Will they warrantee this or is it considered abuse?
May as well wait a bit and get the latest High Torque from Milwaukee if your looking for max power and don't mind the size/weight. I have the DCF899 and love it
That seems like the best idea. Need this job done tmrw..I found a clutch kit from Advanced for $100 after all the coupon codes. I'm really gonna push hard for the sell..thanks for the ideas if he doesn't go for it.
