Any new 3/8 M12 FUEL Ratchet owners??

I have used it here and there for the last few days..On a rusty exhaust clamp nut I broke it manually and it was at the limit of torque so it got a turn or two than I jiggled it another turn or two..while it stopped turning it sounded like it hit a clutch mechanism or somerhing..dont remember...

Cutting down this solid steel axle..

I don't have cutting disks at work for my grinder to try. Is it even going to work or am I better off dropping it off at the machine shop and hoping they don't get me too bad? Thinking making 3 or 4 cuts..what you think?

    M12 Fuel ratchet review

Yup, and after watching a YouTube review it supposedly is rated at 175 ft/lbs of manual tq. Gives me confidence on caliper bracket bolts ect..

    Smallest hex nut/bolt you've encountered?

The screws on my 1/4" metric swivel set were tiny..cant remember the size. People said to put anti seize on them but the first one I pulled already had it so I didn't bother..

    M12 Fuel ratchet review

I gave up on the 1/2" fuel ratchet, acmetool kept on pushing back the date to 2018.. went with the 3/8" model for $135 shipped. Its larger and heavier than the old model for sure. A tradeoff for being stronger, both manual and motoring a fastener. This is a cheap old torque wrench I had laying...

Help me choose between these two, or offer an alternate!

I would get that Husky for 200 along with the HF black cart for 99.. Boxes feel "cheap" when they are not loaded with tools..

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I ordered the fuel 1/2" ratchet a month and a half ago from acme..kept on getting pushed back, now till Dec 31.. I said screw it and had them ship me the 3/8" fuel. 135 shipped seems pretty fair..

Which jump starter do you choose?

May be a stupid question but why can't tool manufacturers make an adapter from a 18v battery to a jumper connection? Borrowed a coworkers today, worked fine. https://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/MINIJUMP2/12000-MAH-JUMPSTARTER-CHARGER/

If all you really need is a impact wrench and you have no other tools currently with compatible batteries I feel like the cheapest would be the Kobalt.. I have experience with these brands Milwaukee M12 impact driver Bosch 3/8" impact 12v Dewalt 20V dcf880 1/2" dcf899 1/2" 20v Makita xwt02Z...

Looking for a low clearance torx set that you drive with wrenches..

Yep, I went with the EZRED kit as it was similar in price and included the t60. I had a gearwrench 4 piece 120xp flex head ratchet kit in my cart from weeks ago..of course Amazon reminded me that it went from $115 to 95. Got that than looked what else I had lingering in my cart..astro 1/4"...

I just found it, it was from a recent post in New tool arrivals. It is gearwrench but is missing the t60.. https://www.amazon.com/GearWrench-81560-Metric-Ratcheting-Wrench/dp/B01NCF6PFS

I have one of those which is great but those are for smaller torx bits..

Looking for a low clearance torx set that you drive with wrenches..

Ya that EZRED fits the bill. something that will hold up to decent torque. Like T30-60.. Seatbelts ect.. The specific one I remember had 1/4" 3/8" and iirc 1/2" drive but also were like the EZRED's in that you could put a wrench over them..

Looking for a low clearance torx set that you drive with wrenches..

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone makes a set where you can put for example a 10mm 14mm 17mm wrench on the one end to turn the fastener in low clearance spots. I need them on a weekly basis.. Thanks Hopefully this makes sense to y'all :lol_hitti
