Acidizing w/floor drain to septic tank

Same boat as you, so I'm trying to avoid it. Yes, the acid would neutralize the septic process (depending on how much acid you use!) I also don't like the idea of having a pretty much constant hose stream going down the drain since it needs a good rinse.

Tiles. Vented or not. Who makes smooth, and who sends samples to Canada?

Good day gentlemens, Ok, after dicking around with my flooring dilemma (Epoxy, Polyurea, etc), I'm still not 100% (Although I am 99%!) convinced the moisture is condensation. That would be a huge piss off if it lifted. That also removed Peel and stick (dammit!) Was going to go with VCT, but...

Cheap coating? Costco brand 100% Epoxy. Any experience?

I am in Canada yes (weird I guess I never entered it?!). I am not a big fan of Costco, but, if the price is right! :D But the deal fell through unfortunately! So I'm not a happy camper. At this rate, it may be looking like Interlocking tiles are my best option. Unfortunately I don't like the...

Cheap coating? Costco brand 100% Epoxy. Any experience?

Maybe that was too much of a novel, let me shorten this up. Anyone have experience with the RokRez Pro 100% Solids epoxy (Made by Simiron, or something). If so what were your thoughts? THanks!

Genius way of emptying Transmission fluid. No Mess!

Of course. That's how I knew they were meant to **** the fluid out of a transmission!

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

Thanks! I didn't know if it was double acting. So it really doesn't matter which line goes to where on the pump then, correct? They are all 'outs'.

Genius way of emptying Transmission fluid. No Mess!

That's usually in the manual of vacuum brake bleeders (to use it as a fluid evacuator).

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

Oops didn't see your reply, sorry man! Yes I guess the extra 'nip' is the other end of the slave cylinder, so, nothing SHOULD be coming out of there (I'm sure it will, but it shouldn't). So I definitely need to bolt this thing down. That much I've noticed (I have skinny cars, it seems. 67...

How does SPGX hold up to salt/snow? Thanks!

Affordable (ok, cheap) flooring options? Vinyl tile? Vinyl Roll? DIY Epoxy

I couldn't give you a number. I could only tell you when I see it (the budget for the product, that is) :D (IE: I'm not paying $2 per ft^2 for my garage, unfortunately). You'd THINK that peel and stick tiles would be <$0.50, but around here (Ontario, Canada.. There's probably a Peel and Stick...

Affordable (ok, cheap) flooring options? Vinyl tile? Vinyl Roll? DIY Epoxy

Here is pretty much the worst of it. Looks to me like water (which I could see when I moved in last year leaked under the rotten threshold seal) freezing. There is also a couple low spots where water will pool (time? Weight of car over time, who knows). So my new plan is maybe try some self...

Affordable (ok, cheap) flooring options? Vinyl tile? Vinyl Roll? DIY Epoxy

Probably what I will end up doing. I think pouring a new layer of self leveling polished concrete would be the best, but DEFINITELY cost prohibitive and not happening (Two bags of Rapid Set set me back $110 here). What do you recommended for trowling/pouring into the damaged spots (Where...

It seems LVT peel and stick wood is also very cheap, but, may look ridiculous? hah

Affordable (ok, cheap) flooring options? Vinyl tile? Vinyl Roll? DIY Epoxy

So I'm having an impasse about what to do about my (1965 I think) garage floor that has seen better days, and I'd like to do it right after I drywall and bring in all my equipment. Originally I was going to go with the cheapest vinyl/laminate roll I could find (Ideally I wanted a checkerboard...

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

So you only have 1 hose off the slave? Yours doesn't even have that ******? I guess it should be capped!

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

Evenin' gentlemen! Another possible quickie for you. Was getting ready to throw these in but ran into a small hydraulic snag (missing parts, to be accurate). On the slave cylinder (I guess they are identical, so I should rephrase to "on ONE cylinder") there is an empty ****** sticking out...

It's only 50 yards. A decent router and nic shouldn't have much of a problem.
