What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Do you use the rubber band trick to hold the thermostat in the housing? This is my go to move to reduce frustration.

Smallest Air compressor for hydraulic Tubing bender

Just to update this thread with results in case anyone else wants to try this. The small compressor cycles with every trigger press on the bender and you can only get about 3-5 degrees bent at a time. You then need to wait a couple minutes to let the compressor build enough pressure to continue...

Smallest Air compressor for hydraulic Tubing bender

Thanks for the reply. That's what I needed. Yes it is a air actuated hydraulic ram on a JD2 bender.

Smallest Air compressor for hydraulic Tubing bender

Anyone using a smaller air compressor to power their hydraulic tubing bender? My large compressor is not connected yet at the new space and I have a couple of tubing projects that I need to start. I have a small Husky portable compressor (1.5gal tank) that I was thinking about rigging up for a...

Pic for reference. No subframes at the time… now it’s much straighter and I even run an empty airbag in the passenger side spring.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Garage Refurb®

Nice combo I can relate to the “best of my abilities at the time” as I’ve also been building my fox over so many years that I cringe at some of my old fab work on it. I think your car can be a consistent low 1.5 60ft setup without being too hard on the parts. And I wonder what the ET difference...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Garage Refurb®

Just read the post about the new PB on motor. That's pretty stout, funny what a small comfort adjustment can do. I'm still dealing with my driver seat "lean" that keeps me from being comfortable when shifting as the car seat rocks on launch pretty badly. . What's the suspension / tire setup that...

More work on the mobile base for the Mill. The whole assembly is very heavy now so time for the wife to help with positioning to finish the final weld passes. Then I have to figure out how to hoist the mill onto the base safely.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Nice looking pitbull. How big is your swamp cooler and how effective is it for the garage? I'm looking at a portable swamp cooler for my 3 car garage workshop in CA. We are hot and dry, it is supposed to hit 110 this weekend so it should work pretty well I'm hoping.

Customizing Tools: Laser Engravings, Colored Chrome, etc

I do laser marking and most of my friends that work in dealerships and other mechanic type shops weren’t really interested in having their tools labeled because it didn’t seem like an issue because they rarely ever loan tools out and always accounted for their tools after each project. I did...
