    I built mine for a Mill that weighs about the same. I used the leveling casters so that it stays putt once I move it where I need.

    Yes I avoid splicing tubes whenever I can but I have used a solid plug and drilled and welded rosettes to keep both tubes locked in place. This time I just bent another tube since I had lots of stock left over. It worked out and is looking pretty nice. 👍

    After trying to repair 3 different Air Hydraulic rams I finally bought a new one from HF and got to Fabbing a light bar for my truck.

    I used the trailer hitch idea with some heat and it worked pretty well, I think I got about 3 degrees on the bend but I wasn’t fully satisfied with the fit up for welding so I bent another bar. Thanks for all the help and ideas.

    I’m going to try the trailer hitch receiver technique because it sounds so simple. The parts are bent in the JD2 bender so it’s difficult to put the part back in to try to unbend. Also tricky to get the whole die clamp mechanism in a vise or press to try the same. Thanks for some good ideas. 👍

    So I normally toss the piece in the scrap pile if I bend the steel tubing too far, but was wondering if anyone had a good technique for adjusting a bend that is 3-5 degrees over. Material is mild steel and I don't mind heating it if needed. Any ideas other that clamping in a vise and muscling...

    With lots of ingenuity and some cussing my wife and I got the Mill onto the mobile base safely. Now I can move it into position and start plumbing the coolant and air system etc….

    Started building a light bar for my truck. The desert roads out here have no street lights and it’s pitch black. These two Auxbeam 9 inch spots will definitely help light the way.
