    Finally moved my mustang into the garage to start the build. Hope to have it running by Christmas. 331 motor build, two kits of nitrous and still look 100% stock 😉

    Bending Tubing - Need Advice

    I just want to say nice Die!... I've bent a lot of aluminum tubing and I use a little heat at the bend to help. Go slow and you will need a follower machined to the same dimensions to prevent the flattening. Look up the " affordable bender' that will give you an idea of the simplest design...you...

    Hey if you still have that cruise control wheel and are looking to let go of it I may suddenly have a need for it. I may be picking up a new to me 1986 GT this evening and It has the GT wheel. :D

    Going through my vintage tool section to decide what to use or restore or get rid of. These are some of my small ratchets (1/4 -3/8) drive. Some Plomb, indestro and snap on… not sure on the others.

    It may. I think any bumper modification could have that effect. Hopefully if the crash is severe enough to need the airbag the sensors will activate anyway.

    If you use the correct settings the laser just marks the metal and does not "etch" into it, the coating is not affected and for this instance the tap is not coated, this is the raw metal that has been polished.

    For Metals you'll need a fiber laser. There isn't a "budget" way to get into it but within fiber lasers there are multiple technologies that are available and range in pricing from around 2k-8k for a personal use type situation. Depending on your intended use the lasers have color capability...

    Thank you. I had already purchased that jack because I couldn’t wait as I was mid project. This weekend for the big Labor Day sale I bought a couple angle grinders, an aluminum race jack and some other small stuff. Signed up for the members club too and saved a bunch on that purchase. 👍

    Started working on wiring up the truck lights. Designed a bracket for the relay and ran the wiring to the firewall. Printed a switch panel and mounted the switch. Waiting for a jumper to extend the switch as it is too short to enter the cab.
