Value of Erem Swiss pliers, anyone?

I have a couple of Erem pliers, made in Switzerland, that I have had for years. I noticed that the new versions sell for $80 to well over $100. I gather that these are precision pliers for electronics work. Any idea what my pliers are worth, to sell? Thanks.

small air compressor for blowing off metal chips? How often will it cycle?

I have a 6 gallon pancake compressor-I turn it on, fill the tank, then turn it off. One tank of air can last a long time for just small parts cleaning. No need to have it refill every time it drops to 100psi, or whatever the cutoff is, for this purpose.

    Vise advice

ok, here's a few. The smallest is a Morgan 3" jaw- nice size for moving around, and still useful for holding small stuff for cutting, filing, etc.

    Vise advice

if its just for light duty work, just mount the vise to a block of wood, and pull it out only when you use it. I have a couple of vises set up this way. I can post a pic, if you are interested.

Any suggestions on a good way to wall mount a table saw to keep it out of the way?

I know you are asking for a wall mount suggestion, but I will post this anyway. No matter where you put it, it will still occupy the same volume of space. I have my table saw AND miter saw on a mobile cart that takes up relatively small amount of floor space- its a compromise, but when you need...

    Relay Troubleshooting

can you remove the cap on the relay(many of them are removable)? If so, you will be able to visualize the actual switch contacts, which may make it obvious if its a contact problem. On second thought, if you remove the relay, and jump the contacts and everything is fine, then it sounds like...

    vise size

I have Columbian 4" and 4-1/2" vises of the same style. The 4-1/2" vise is alot beefier than the 1/2" difference in jaw width would make it seem. They are both great vises to use, but for daily use, the 4-1/2" stays on the bench. The vise on the left is a 3" Morgan. Yes, I prefer fixed base...

craftsman ball bearing drawers wont stay closed

Ya, throw a level on the box and drawers, and see whats leaning forward. If so, simply shim the front wheels up a bit. In the picture, you can see the shim under the front left wheel, and also a piece of wood to keep it from rolling forward. Thats all there is to it. Once you load the box up...

Building a grinder stand without a welder?

do you have Habitat Restores in your neighborhood? They always seem to have various types of tables with metal pedestals that would work. They're cheap- between free and $5 or so dollars.
