    Removing broken screws in mahogany

Another vote for drill out and dowel. And glue the dowel into the door with Titebond III. And don't use brass screws. I've done this a lot and works fine. Also I have removed the broken screw when I can leave as little a hole as possible, filling the hole with wood slivers to give the new...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I got the Milwaukee addiction 40 years ago building our first house. Lately been getting into packouts and battery powered tools. Took the back seat out of my Jeep, installed a packout wall bracket on a piece of mdf to the seat brackets and have my packouts mounted so that they don’t slide around.

    12,000 BTU Mini Split

My detached garage workshop has been miserable lately. 80-85° indoor temp the past month. 100% humidity. 528 sf insulated. No AC currently, but have a small heater to keep the place at least 55° in the winter. I'd like to keep the place low humidity to minimize rust on tools, and keep it...

I put down epoxy-coat (with paint chips) 19 years ago in my 22x20' detached workshop. And some kind of urethane? topcoat that I can't remember the brand. The epoxy-coat has held up extremely well. I did have some yellowing under the tires of my riding mower. Maybe due to the topcoat. I've...

    Building garage cabinets

All that **** is in the basement. Boxes of photos and other stuff dating back to the 1950's. And now Boss Lady wants to take possession of her 96 year old mother's photos. So I'll soon have 100 years of memories stockpiled. I need more space.

    Building garage cabinets

I built some closets, put 2 Craftsman workbenches between them, a tool cabinet above and some sliding door cabinets on each side. The closets really save some space. They have some bigger awkward items, and lots of bins of small stuff.
