    Trailer Flooring Help

Jim, At his age, the Comer is the only available class for him. Once he reaches 8, then he can move up. At the school (his first time in a kart), he was lapping with the Adults and was not scared or intimidated at all, even when he spun a couple of time (at least he was trying hard to go...

Delta Drill arrived from Amazon *pics*

Just got it today from ABF trucking. I must say, it was well packed and well greased. Not anywhere was there signs of rust/corrosion. Everything went together well with little effort and it seems to work well. I have not drilled anything yet, but it runs fairly quietly and smoothly. I don't...

    New Member...My Finished Garage

Have you used a jack, or jack stands on that tile yet? Interested how it would hold up. Also, will the glue that you put down first fill in any imperfections in the concrete, or would those need to be repaired first? Looks great!!

    Proform Tools

I haven't bought any, but everything I have heard from those brave enough to buy, is that it is ****.......same thing with their engine parts...valve covers etc....cheap and junk. I also heard that lots of the Summit branded stuff is made by ProForm also, so I stay away from the Summit stuff too.

    Running two separate tool chests

I have 2 seperate chest stacks. One is my 'good' one, which is all black (Craftsman) and the other is kinda mis-matched (green and red). I use one for my 'good' series of tools, and the other for my Harbor freight and other second rate tools. If I go to the Junk Yard, I pull tools from the...

    How to unload air compressor

I bought a 7hp, 60 gallon upright from Lowes. I had them load it in the back of my 71 C20 with their forklift. When I got home, I unloaded it and took it to the shed behind the garage by myself. It was even raining lightly at the time. It was quite the adventure....being so top heavy makes...

Suggestions on building an attached car port

I want to build a carport in front of my garage, attached to the eves, which are 8' from the concrete. The driveway has a good slope to it, so it could likely still be 8' at the far edge. I made a quick paint sketch of what the area looks like. I want at least 14-16 feet of coverage from the...

New guy and a couple of specific lift questions!!

No personal experience (yet), but according to some of the info I have read on the various lift sites, for a 6000lb lift, you need at leat 4" of 3000psi slab and 12' will work, but you may not be able to fully lift all the way up.... Tim
