Picked this up at the local mom and pop tool store. (Weselltools in Bartlett TN) I plan on using it as a tool and parts combo under the hood. I only put the 1/4 and 3/8 pegs so I can toss commonly used sockets for a job and the bolts.

The XL wrenches are freaking awesome. I use them almost every day and other than some flex when a bolt is really really tight, they are flawless.

I’ve got a workbench I want to toss one over. Worth a shot at the asking price and warranty.

I got a coupon in my email today for this set for $40. I love mine and outside of a few VERY fat heavy Equipment snap rings, these are great. I use mine weekly (what some would call daily). The best comparison I can make is they are 90 percent as good as my $350 Snap on set.

Good to hear as I have broken a Proto 1/4dr 10mm 12pt impact swivel and they basically told me there is no warranty. The socket looks brand new and I had used it maybe 3 times. I switched to sunex in hopes of better luck.

For automotive use, I find my Bahco wrenches too bulky for tight jobs where as the Carlyles are more like my Snap on flank drive in ergonomics. They are amazing wrenches but like my SKs, just not up to par for that “doing everything with one set of wrenches,” use. Carlyle is a great affordable...

I would buy it. Down the road if any parts give you trouble; upgrade. Life goes on. Can’t get Tekton for that price, and that or Hf would be next on my list for 3/4 occasional use.

I own Snap on and Icon. Icon are perfect for 99% of jobs. Snap on are good for the 1% of crazy stupid thick ones found on heavy equipment.
