4x6 bandsaw modification (double throat width)

Very nice mod. I've yet to use my 4x6 very much in the vertical position but I can see how this would be useful. Now I just need to buy a mill so I can make stuff like this!

    Milwaukee 6190-20 cold-cut saw

Is a metal cutting horizontal band saw out of the question? Ever since I bought mine I don't even want to look at the chop saw, dry cut or not...

How often do you use flathead screwdrivers?

Never for their intended purpose if I can help it. Hose clamps get the nut driver treatment. I severely dislike flat head fasteners.

    Show us your welding projects

A little (ok a lot) of bandsaw notching. Will snap some pictures of the welding table I'm building soon, just got her tacked together and closed up the garage for the day.

    flux core wire

Lincoln NR-211 for a number of years now. It runs pretty smooth for FCAW and is readily available even if it's 8pm Sunday night, lol.

    snap on micro boxes

I gave one to my son (3), he absolutely loves it. He puts the 1/4" ratchet I gave him in it, among other odds and ends.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

http://www.harborfreight.com/20-piece-poly-bins-and-rails-41949.html 20 Piece Poly Bins and Rails 100% PASS in my book. Sure, the wall hangers should be steel, but these are downright great for the money. They aren't going to hold 20 lbs in one bin, but the price for the name brand ones is...

Mac monster pry bar Vs mayhew dominator pry bar?

I use these at work for heavy equipment/tractor trailer maintenance. They are heavy at around 18 lbs but I've never seen one break. I've only seen a couple of them bend towards the hadle end from misuse. I use the weight of the bar as an advantage a lot, you can get some good striking force...

How hard is it to push around a 53" or 40" toolbox?

If you're looking at the KRA4813DPC check this out: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=storage&item_ID=92804&group_ID=23865&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog I have one, and I absolutely enjoy it. Rolls very smooth. Cheaper than a comparable heritage series to boot and I'm pretty...

yellow has finally arrived on the snap on truck

The color didn't seem as washed out in person as it does in the pictures. Mind you they were taken with my cell phone that probably isn't the highest of resolutions, plus there was some light reflecting off the shrink wrap from the tool truck door being open. I wish I could have gotten some...

yellow has finally arrived on the snap on truck

I want to say 59 for each 5 piece set either slotted or phillips but dont quote me on it. No hard handles to be seen. If you buy a set you get a free yellow hat. Not a real nice one, just a regular 'ol hat. I'm assuming they're just testing the waters to see what kind of demand there is for the...

    "CDI" Torque Wrenches.....

I use quite a few CDI's at work and I personally think they're a cut above the rest. We haven't had any issues with the torque being significantly off like we have with some of the other manufacturers. If it makes any sense, the CDI ones feel more "smooth" than any other wrenches I've used...

    Craftsman combo wrenches.

To me the steel these wrenches are made of seem a bit softer than other comparable options. If I had to do it all over I'd probably go with Williams. Don't get me wrong, they work well but when funds are available I'm definitely upgrading to a higher quality wrench. IMO they just show wear and...
