    Garage man door light

You can also use the round light boxes that are on the metal bar that nails to studs on each side. That makes the box adjustable horizontally for centering and can nail it closer to exterior. Then use a can of spray foam and spray all around the stud bay side of the box so you can't see the box...

3/8 hose with 3/8 fittings and Milton type V high flow couplers or similar will do wonders. I picked up a 25 gal like new Porter Cable air tank for $20 on CL. Works great for auxiliary or a portable tank.

Garage Security "When a monitored system isn't enough"

For door jamb kick in reinforcement look at Ez armor type jamb kits and strengthen your doors and jambs. The Liftmaster 3800 shaft openers like I have does not have a rope in the middle since its mounted off on the side of the spring shaft. It also comes with auto deadbolts that lock and...

    Residential spray insulation

Yes I have seen an all in one kit that had a box containing the 2 tanks hoses and spray gun with interchangeable hose tips. I don't remember the name but was at a local lumber yard that caters more to contractors than a big box.

Propane hose to black pipe to hose to tank (through wall)

I've seen easily thousands of buildings and every type of exterior I can imagine and never ever seen or heard of a black pipe being sleeved. Thats in commercial or residential. Is there really a need? I also was told by a plumber with at least 30 yrs experience that he had never seen...

Use a shop vac with a drywall bag installed. It makes a world of difference. Just make sure to not use a shop vac without the bag, the filter will clog in minutes. Then your back where your started.

My new almost dream shop 25x32

The Atlas is electric and hydraulic. The electric motor operates the hydraulic pump that actually does the lifting. The compressor was purposely built off the floor to give more floor room\storage underneath it. The platform was sized for that compressor which is a typical size. The in-wall...

    Plywood wall tips

Start at bottom place a spacer on floor in middle of sheet to balance on. Then use a level to position it perfectly. The spacer holds the weight and gives an easy balance point. Fasten when ready.

Should I fill rhino ramps with expanding foam?

Bug and spider bombs have been reported to work great. As for the foam and ramps, sure would work fine just follow the directions and fill the void halfway and stop just before you have enough it will continue to flow/expand out the straw. After finishing a partial can unscrew straw and blow air...

    Harbor Freight Compressors

Another option that hasn't been mentioned is purchase a smaller/lower cfm unit and watch for air tanks on CL etc to add capacity for the occasional higher demands. I bought a 25 gal porter cable new looking tank intended for a compressor build. Changed my mind and found a used IR on CL for...

Been there, my Dad has been consciously gone but physically here for 7 1/2 yrs now. I would rather be in your shoes it's easier to deal with. Don't worry though, time does heal all. Your mind will still wander at times, and you may need some time to gather yourself, but it gets easier...

Looking seriously at Epoxy Coat - Some Q's

Be sure to lay it down as soon as possible epoxy does have a short shelf life. If your overly concerned on the slip aspect buy some rubber backed runner type rugs for high traffic areas.
