Abrasives, school me on cartridge rolls.

Lets say I have a piece or steel plate or tubing with an inside feature or hole. If I want to do anything in there as far as smoothing, blending or similar- now I have 2 options. AO Drum on a mandrel and AO flap wheel. IMO both of these really ****. You get about 10 seconds of real use out of...

    Power Tool Cords

I have 2 angle grinders that could use cords. Big box store cords are too stiff. What should I be looking for SJTW? Anyone have a favorite cord? I would be tempted to order a spool of SJOOW and make some but the lighter gauge of a grinder cord coupled with the fact that it's 2 conductor make...

    Cable and Ferrule Kit

Long time ago, when I worked in the truck dealership, we had a kit for making up air tank drain cords. Light cable and some smashable ferrules. We also used them to tether stuff, like pins and clips, a key etc. Anyone seen or have a kit they could recommend?

Identify a This Old Tony tool.

Can any of you guru's identify this "depth scale" that TOT uses in his bending video? I've got a plastic one from Kreg that is DARN handy, but I sure would like to have this metal one. I considered it might be shop made, but I don't think so based on that fact that the slotted rule looks legit.

jeepinerdeep's shop fab n project thread.

    Mag Drill Stand

I picked up a used mag drill a few months ago for a future project, and had the plan in mind to build a stand for it to get max use out of it. It is bitchin cool just by itself though. There just aren't a ton of these out there, so I pulled ideas from 3 places. I used to have a CNC plasma and...

    Annular Cutters-Who Do You Love

Just got a mag drill ordered on ebay. Been waiting a while for the right one, and used my bottomless pit of United miles. Looking for cutter brands you are happy with or brands to avoid. 3/4 Weldon shank. I assume HSS is the preferred to avoid shattering. I'd rather buy decent or mid grade...

So, I found this nice image in the Google image search. It links to pinterest. Neither one will link me to the original location, like a contractors site or forum like this. M12 5 3/8 Circular Saw Tips

Case Ideas for Skill Worm Drive

Anyone have, make or adapt a case for a Skill 77 worm drive saw? At this point my only idea is to grab a metal toolbox and cut a plywood insert for the saw to rest in. Got any pics or ideas to throw my way? ( I'm also in the same boat for a PC router, but I think I can get one on ebay if I'm...

ACCO 40 Ton Press Power Source

Keeping things simple..........I happened upon an ACCO 40 ton shop press in overall very good condition. The issue is that the hand pump has been bastardized, and converted to work in theory on air or hand pump action. The guy I got it from states that pile of booger welds is unreliable. It...
