How old is this Fluke 88?

They used a protective "holster" then. Here is one made for the older 80 series to upgrade to a magnet strap. http://www.tooltopia.com/fluke-h80m.aspx

Tool chest review - Sears, Tractor Supply, Lowes, Home Depot, Harbor Freight

My HF boxes had casters with roller bearings. That side plastic washer pushes out and a cage containing the rollers is there, unless HF changed this in the last few years. I also removed that odd grease fitting, retapped to standard grease fitting.

    Anyone Use Torque Multiplier Tool?

I've used them in an industrial setting in the past. These videos may give better idea of where they may and may not be...

    Thermocouple Type K question

Titanium Steel, Not sure if your trying to get this temperature probe for your Klien Multimeter. If you are, you have to use a K type most likely. You can plug in other types that will give a reading, but it will not be correct. We use these at work http://www.omega.com/pptst/CL20.html and...

    Thermocouple Type K question

That last link labels it K but desciption, called J- grainger may have messed up there. If you want to use different types of thermocouples, you have to use a thermometer made that lets you select different types of thermocouples (more expensive). Cheaper thermometers are usually K only...

    Angled blade on my port-a-band

I repaired a Milwaukee port-a-band at a place I work that had an issue of the blade not being square. One or both of the blade guide rollers were worn from what I remember. May have to take blade off to inspect bearing for wear. I do know Milwakee has a nice website to look up pdf...

Recommendations for On-Vehicle Fuel Injector Cleaner Tool

I've got it, made with fairly heavy wall thickness. Won't crush it by stepping on it. One thing to keep in mind, it comes with a quick connect to fit OTC brand fuel adapters (can't use without them). The fuel inj service kits OTC sell have many adapters, or you could buy them as needed. The...
