    i completely agree that a seperate garage is needed for cars and stuff but its not in the works right now. i was going to hang them along the wall where some shelves are right now. moving the shelves to the basement to get the storage **** out of my garage, that way they are not over parking...

    anyone made a lift or pulley system to get the bikes up and out of the way, ive got approx 10 foot ceilings in the garage. ive seen one @ sears that hooks onto the bike and uses a pulley to lift, just wondering if anyone has done themselves. thanks.

    we have pecan block floors where i work, 1 inch thick stips on end bolted together in sections of about 2-3 foot. its very oily here so most have been "cured" over the years. slowly being replaced by concrete though.

    thanks for the suggestions, i do have a nice inside corner knife, i use it most of the time but it just doesnt feel right for some reason, might pick up a wider one and see if it helps on final pass.

    ive got a good one that my father (steel building designer) drew up for me out of wood. its meant for a long run down a wall and not very deep but has shelf above and storage underneath. ill dig the scanner out if youre interested, pm me. it does require a mitre box or mitre saw to get it right.

    thanks for all the advice. if i had a mansion someone else would be doing the wiring while i was in the pool. makes sense on the refrigerator outlet. im going to run all the wiring myself and have a guy i know do the final check and hookup to panel.
