    bought a sears 109 metal lathe---need a part

http://www.homeshopsupply.com/upgrades.html These people have parts and info. These little lathes weren't made by Atlas. I think it was Dunlap who made a lot of other stuff for Sears. I had one at one time. At any rate, this site will get you started. a

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here is my little Huot box. It is a sturdy unit, it weighs more empty than a lot of carry type boxes do with tools in them. Have two Huot chests as well, both presently getting some repair. Looking for Huot intermediate middle box in the usual blue color.

Like them both. They are both in really nice shape. The Powr Kraft box is really cool.

    Let's see your toolbox.

That little Kennedy looks like a good working box to me. I had a similar Cman box years ago. Hang on to it, when you get something bigger, it will be a great travel box.

montgomery ward? and other obscure brands

I have a 1/4 drive set with the Frankenstein ratchet, but it is branded Speedmaster. I have other Speedmaster/Wards/Powerkraft stuff and would really like to hear from someone who could sort out history of the various names MW used.

mid 1950 snap on tool box

You might give easykeys.com a try. They supply keys for office furniture and file cabinets. They had the keys for my old New Britain chest and roll around. Not real cheap, but I was real happy with their service and my old boxes had been without keys for at least 25 years. http://www.easykeys.com/

My first vintage tool buy. SPEEDMASTER

I've got a Speedmaster set like that. It was my grandfather's. Also have another 1/4" drive Speedmaster that is gearless w/four pins that lock up. I have a 1/2" drive set and 3/8" ratchet as well. Cool stuff.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here is my New Britain top and bottom, both dated 11/69. My dad bought them new, and they are now my main mechanics tool boxes. Most of the tools inside are 40-60 years old, Powr Kraft and Speedmaster always gaining drawer space. The middle box is a Dayton, have yet to find the mfg. date on it...
