The 15 years would not be a problem for me as long as all the handles move stuff and the motor and spindle can be spun by hand.. See if it will go into back gear as well and turn the motor by hand.
Set straight boards on edge parallel to each other, away from the walls, use those as guides. After screed and before it sets too much pull the boards, fill the slots, trowel in to make it not show.
When turning the head upside down, be aware that the worm gear that controls the head tilt may be broken or missing. Be ready for the head to fall sideways and crush you like a bug.
All that aside, I think the price is fine.
I've included a pic of a cap start motor schematic. Line 1 and 2 with 220v between them go across the cap. Even with the start winding in series, I would expect the cap to see 220 volts at some point.
The caps in the ac units are the silver metal cans right? What voltage rating do they have...
Lol, my concern is with grit and dust that is on used rags. I would not worry about mixing 2 oils in this case. I worry about the funnel picking up dust during storage.
Maybe I am a bit **** about it? Makes up for the mess in my shop and garage? I must be compensating for something.:willy_nil
I clean before use. Spray with greased lightning, scrub with bottle brush for small hole and bigger brush all over, rinse with water, blow dry.
Why would I want to put any dirt in what ever I am filling?
Any capacitor that has the runs is bad.
The color choices the PO made on the plug also suggest 120 V motor. For a 240 V motor red and black would have been connected.
Remove belt as others have said.
