    NAPA blue flip-top tool box

The box I'm looking at is the 7 drawer. I asked if he could get another and he said no. I did not ask if they were discontinued. So if it's a good deal I'm picking it up today.

    Bend Pak XPR10CX Discontinued

Actually the XPR-10 can be set either 138" or 145" wide. The XPR-10-168 is the same lift only it has 2' extension on it. Also, few if any internet dealers have any Bendpak lifts in stock. They are all shipped from Ca.

    Home Lift Suggestions

There are several "lift" threads on this board and a lot of good information and a lot of opinions. You really need to take a look at the different lifts and compare for yourself. Go here and check this out. Then go to some car dealers and/or repair shops and see what they use. I have a...

Knife opinions SOG Twitch I vs. SOG Blink

I have and carry a Twitch II, also have a Blink. You can't go wrong with a SOG knife. I like the Twitch II as it's a bit larger than a Blink and easier for me to open one-handed as I have fairly large hands. Try them all and see which one feels the best.

    Manifold Setup help needed

Are we talking about a NG water heater or Electric? My two 9X7 garage door are a major source of heat loss in my old part, but it still stays the same temp as the new part (new part has the radiant heat). My floor temp stays around 62-64 degrees so far. Not sure what it will do in teens or...

Got my BendPak installed but have a question

Congrats on your lift. You'll love it. If it were mine, I'd find the smallest washer stack and get a flat plate or two to allow the lift column to be shimmed a bit less. It just doesn't look safe setting on all those washers. Do you have a full nut on the studs? Just my opinion.

    Manifold Setup help needed

Try taking the check valve out of the pump, you don't need it. .1 GPH flow on 5 loops is .5 GPH total flow. That might be what your pump is capable of with your system. Don't worry so much about the flow, just try to get the drop across the manifolds around 15-20* by adjusting the flows on...

New Hydronic Heat running Strong ! Sweaty feet ?

My shop with in floor heat is set to 62* air temp, which I find real nice while working. In most cases the floor will be 64-65*. When the temp outside gets down in the 20s and below, the difference in the floor will increase by 2-3 degrees. I notice the increased warmth on my feet, but my...

Looking for a radiant heat thermostat

That will take the outside temp into consideration when determining the early on time of the heat source so when the temp is falling outside faster and farther than normal or a set number of degrees, it will anticipate and start sooner to limit the undertemp or vis-a-versa the overtemp if the...

Should I pack my ratchet with grease?

I found if you use grease the ratchet will not work on stuff that is not loose enough for the fingers. But if you just put a couple drops of 10W30 in the mechanism it will work fine. I also like fine tooth ratchets for most automotive work.

How often do you use the OPEN end of a wrench??

Working on automotive applications all my life so far, I find I use the open end as much as the boxed end. My favorite wrenches are the combination type.

Got a Two-Post Lift...? Tell Me About It, Lets Create a Buyers Guide!!

I looked at a lot of lifts before I bought my Bendpak XPR-10 with a two ft. extension. The Mohawk is a very well made lift without a doubt and if money was no issue, that is what I would have bought. But for the money I think the Bendpak XPR-10s are a very good value. Installation was easy...

How long until the slab is warm?

I have a little over 1000 sqft. heated with PEX and 720 sqft. not heated, connected. Started it Feb 1st this year, temperature outside was in the teens and a blizzard. If I remember correctly, the 40 Gal water heater ran steady for about 36 hours to get the air temp in my garage to 60*. But...

A big thanks to Jeff at Bendpak

I to have not had good luck with Bendpak customer service. The company I bought the lift from tried to get the needed part or solution but ultimately turned over to Bendpak themselves and I was told a new part would be sent to me soon. That was six months ago and I've heard nothing. The...

    Chinese Auto Lifts

I looked at the Rotary 10000# lifts in a dealership that also has 10000# Bendpaks. You need to compare with your own eyes before you buy. Both are good lifts. I bought the Bendpak and saved $1200. I like to buy american whenever I can, but I asked the Rotary distributor where Rotary buys...
