    Wrong LPG pipe size installed

There is definitely not a 2nd stage regulator from what I can tell. It has a regulator at the tank and then goes to this 3/4" black hose which then goes down to a yellow 3/4" plastic pipe. Comes out of the ground with the same black 3/4" black hose and then into a shutoff valve. Then to some...

    Wrong LPG pipe size installed

Hi guys, So I had a 500 gallon LPG installed the other day for a 22kw Generator and I was going over the startup procedures in the manual and came across a chart that basically said I need a 1" gas pipe. Well they installed a 3/4" pipe. Apparently this isnt going to cut it for how much BTUs to...

I have a 27'x24'x10'ceilings with a 16 foot 8ft door as well. I haven't installed all the lights yet (just one to get electrical inspection done) and will be using it mostly for a woodshop and some car stuff here and there. Solar System and Backup Generator at Detached Garage

Solar was installed before I bought the house but it seems the lines coming from the inverter are tapped on the "Utility/Source" side of the main breaker.

Solar System and Backup Generator at Detached Garage

I'm kinda doing something like this right now... I have solar already on the house that net meters to the grid which is great. This is actually connected BEFORE my main breaker. So the way it works is: Utility power -><- Solar -> Main breaker -> ATS (Automatic transfer switch) From the ATS...

Need to buy 50m of Fiber to connect garage

I recently bought 350ft of om3 fiber from LANshack.com They even preinstalled a pulling eye to help make the pull easier without accidentally destroying the cable. I haven't actually pulled it yet though because I'm a little afraid It's not going to go well lol.

Garage door track hand from single truss

The guy installing my garage door said "I don't know" when I asked if putting the garage door on a single truss was an issue. The door weighs 200lbs. Ive been worried about hanging things from the truss because of some articles I've read here. My bottom chord is rated for 10lbs / sfqt dead load.

Wire pull thru 2 inch conduit critique please.

    I just got done running 3 4/0, 3 1/0, 1 #2, & 6 #12 through a 2 1/2" schedule 40 & Schedule 80 at some parts.... You'll be fine running 3 1/0 through a 2" haha.

    Vinyl siding install costs

I got a quote from someone to do the aluminum trim work around the garage I'm building and he also gave me a quote to do the siding as well. I think he inflated the costs of the trim just so he can get a shot at doing the siding because he wanted $2500 for just the trim. (Fascia/door caps, etc.)...

    Pretty basic Man door question.

Same problem different opening... My window is 1/2" larger on each side as per the ordering instructions. But now the mounting holes are open to the air and nothing to nail them to... If I add 1/2" ply to each side to fill the gap will that be substantial enough to nail into? Or what's the...

Do I need a larger cable puller or?

In the house I grew up in no matter what my family tried to do there was always a leak in the basement of our house. So it was just a worry of mine. In regards to the megger comment. What is the difference between doing that and using a multimeter to test for continuity? Edit: nevermind. I...

Do I need a larger cable puller or?

So I pulled everything back on Saturday and started over. First, I pulled the rope back through but with a few rags to clean out anything that may have been in the pipe. Then I had someone working the machine, someone pushing/setting up the cable to go straight in the pipe. And I was at the...

    Best type of splice

I was going to go with a trough originally but didn't have a way to bond it. But now that I'm splicing I can bond it and be on my way. Sorry for the lack of info I threw the post together in a hurry before grocery shopping. To the fella that told me to call an electrician. I consult with one...

    Best type of splice

I used the ultratugger to pull an amazing amount of cables through a 2 1/2" conduit to the inside of my basement. That's where I stopped though. I didn't have any ability to not destroy the cables that went into the LB so I decided it's time to just run a separate line inside and use...

Hmm Yeah seems that they don't make those in PVC. A lot of iron and aluminum ones though.
