    Building myself a proper shop

Looks big. Is this going to be purely the home shop, or are you planning on running some part of your business out of it? I like it.

 Dude, you are a machine. Good work.

The "honey I think you overdid it" garage

That's a serious stove/oven/range thing. I would say THAT might be overkill, but you can use at least one of the ovens for powdercoating, so maybe not. What's going inside this monster?

    My Friday project cheap fix!

That Easy Mac is a back breaker.

My first garage! Some ideas I'm thinking about

An electric element heats the oil, which then stays hot. Sounds like you have a plan, which is good, but I wonder how that structure is built. I bet if you pull down part of the ceiling and take a look, you'll find that there's a truss of some kind in there, which will probably render your...

    Install of invisable dog fence.

I had one of the wireless ones that works by radio signal. It worked well at keeping our angry, angry, territorial Chow mix in and away from people coming to the house, but it didn't keep him from coming after anybody who came inside his zone. I don't have that dog any more, but the...

    ever get overwhelmed?

I have a 4 year old and an almost-2-year old, an old house that we bought in a nearly-habitable state 4 years ago this fall (and it still needs work to move from "livable" to "nice")- to say nothing of the projects that I/we just want to do... I STAY overwhelmed, sometimes I think we bring it on...

My “Class Act” Trailer's Structural Integrity Failure

Glad to hear you're at least able to get some supoprt from your dealer, who it sounded like you have/ have had a good relationship with anyway. The big signs would frustrate me. I'd get tired of looking at them as a daily reminder of this kind of ordeal. But a small, tasteful sign that reads...

west of Philly - barn saving

I would NEVER have guessed that. I used to love me some hacky sack in high school/ college. Wasn't very good, but could usually keep kicking one around without a drop for quite a while, given a couple other not-terrible people to kick with. Fun game. Maybe I should teach my kids...

    PASLODE Cordless framing nailer

I have one at home. For my needs, it's perfect. Gas cylinders come in packs of 2, I haven't been able to use one up on one of my projects yet. Most of my stuff is "frame a new closet, add a partition wall" as opposed to "build a house," though. Instead, what happens is I use most of one, then...

Who makes Craftsman Professional Air compressors?

My little one (25gallon, 1.8hp) is either a devilbiss or a porter cable rebrand, depending who you ask. It was half the cost of the one you're looking at, though.

    college tool list

I made it through school with the 1/2 and 3/8" metric/SAE combo kit that mom and dad got me for my 17th birthday, plus a set of screwdrivers. That's enough for an oil change, r&r of most parts, etc. Good luck at school- keep your tools locked up, things do go missing around college campuses.

    Work Shop Truck Build

Eh, I'm sure it'll look fine if you have it all lined up, and those weldmates should have done a pretty good job there. :) Unless you want to just really not have any plastic filler on the outside (which is cool, too)... I was just thinking on the back doors, too- never occurred to me that the...

    Work Shop Truck Build

Are you planning to take corners from the back of the opposite side (on your spare doors) to make front corners on those rear doors? I wondered when I saw the first picture of the two doors together how you'd do that. Cool project. :)

    Building too seriously

Y'all keep on building seriously. I enjoy learning new stuff by watching the chaos turn into something cool.

What I have been up to lately

All by yourself? You are making good time, then. Looks good. The dimensional shingles look way more expensive than the extra cost- I used them on my house, too. But I paid somebody to do mine, and I still don't regret that. :p

    Fathers Day

I want a pressure regulator to fix my air compressor and some parts to rehab a free-to-me much-nicer-than-my-current grill. My wife must think I am boring as hell. Maybe I am. :lol_hitti
