I think this is what you're looking for: http://www.ernstmfg.com/store/p/117-5189-GRIPPER-Reverse-Wrench-Organizers-Black-15-Tool.aspx I think Ernst is the OEM for Tekton on these.

best all around drill bit set with a warranty

Are Drill Hog made in the US? I've bought some bits from the recently and they seem to be good quality, but they aren't marked USA (only the size and HSS), and they don't use "Made in USA" or the like on their packaging anywhere I can find. edit: Looks like they say "USA made" on some of their...

Best & I mean BEST most powerfull cordless drill???

What about the dewalt DCD460B? I'm honestly not sure if it's more powerful than your 36V drill because they don't list comparable specs for the 2.

    Armstrong double open end wrenches

I have some Proto open end wenches which are very nice. Mine are black oxide; looks like they don't do full polish, but if satin is cool check out J3000N and J30000P-M. The metric set skips 17mm though which could be bad depending on what you're working on.

    USA Long Pattern Wrenches

I have a couple of the Armstrong long wrenches and they're nice. Armstrong is out of business now so it may be harder to find a full set (eBay is your friend) and there's no warranty if that matters to you. SK long wenches and Williams Supercombos are good made in USA options. Both of these...

    Plier set recommendations

They make a slip-joint water pump plier they call Alligator: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X4J2VQ/?tag=atomicindus08-20 If you mean a slip-joint like a Channellock 526, I don't believe they do.

    Plier set recommendations

Channellock gets my vote for bang for your buck. The slipjoints and groove-joints in that Tekton set are made by Wilde though, and all the Wilde stuff I have is great. The linesmans, dikes, and needlenose are imports and I don't know how the quality is.

Air compressor side plug. Tap for air supply?

A reducing bushing is what you're looking for. Should only be a couple of bucks--cheaper than a tap and drill and you'll still have your old plug if you want to go back. You'll have to figure out what size the tapped hole you have is...

recommend a brand for long zero offset metric box wrench singles (10X12 and 14X17)

Thanks for the KTC suggestions, those look really good and KTC wasn't really on my radar. I'm also liking the 6pt end on those Sowas.

recommend a brand for long zero offset metric box wrench singles (10X12 and 14X17)

I'm looking to get a couple of zero offset metric long box wrenches. I just work on my own cars, which are both Toyotas, so I figure a 10mmX12mm and a 14mmX17mm ought to let me do just about everything I need and I don't have to spring for a full set. So far I've only found a few that make...

    Thread cutting bolt question

1/4 would be smaller than the minor diameter on a 3/8 thread. 5/16 is the tap size for 3/8-16; you'd probably be better off with that. I don't have experience with these to be sure, but I would think that a 3/4 drive socket would be overkill.
