    Door for Craftsman machinist’s box

Yet another machinist’s box found its way Into my life, not complaining bc they’re fun to restore and still seem to hold value. This latest one is a craftsman. It’s missing the front door, anyone know where I might locate one? I’m not sure on the exact model yet but I’m having trouble finding...

    Concrete color

Any ideas on how to get new concrete to match the step’s sand like color? I’m finishing up a paint job but the nice lady that owns the house wants these cracks filled and I’d like to match it the best I can. I’ll be chipping out all this gray concrete. It’ll crack again in the future but she...

    Brightening Old, Colorful Wood

I’ve just finished up a refinish on this old globe wernicke columbia file cabinet but something is still bothering me. It has 3 of these beautiful clip boards and I know if I can brighten those colors up a bit it’ll help it sell. I’m open to suggestions, not really trying to use anything that’ll...

    Old Industrial Locker/Cabinet

    Type of wood?

I finished the table last week. Very happy with it and I’ll gladly keep it if it doesn’t sell. I cut part of the leg out to get rid of that design, a lot of sanding, stain and sprayed it with satin poly.

    Type of wood?

That was my guess too but didn’t want to lead anyone. Not the biggest fan of hog but it’s really pretty piece so I’ll probably keep it light colored as I can. Thx for response

    Type of wood?

Here’s the top and another pic of side. I’ve had sanded everything except for the two sides which I used my sander but will be hand sanding everything before stain. Started with 60, 220, 400 and I’m currently about to hit everything with 1500. I usually do a light 3000 swipe over everything as...

    Gerstner Keys

I just got this G. & Sons box. Did a light restore, didn’t need much but as usual the key is missing. I’ve searched the usual routes but I must be missing something bc I’m not seeing it. It has a Yale HG3 lock and the box is a #241( box number is probably irrelevant but included anyway. I also...
