    Tools of Japan

I got the 125mm version and now kinda wish I had gotten the 150mm version. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...1?ie=UTF8&th=1 I'll put them on a Camel price drop watch and if they drop add the 150's.

Your thoughts on using just 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools Abandon 3/8" drive?

Re: Your thoughts on using just 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools Abandon 3/8" drive? Sorry not OEM. These are Draper Expert that I bought in the UK online and had shipped. I looked at the OEM stuff but by the time I would get the shipped to Canada it and added the size skips these worked out better...

Your thoughts on using just 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools Abandon 3/8" drive?

Re: Your thoughts on using just 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools Abandon 3/8" drive? I recently bought all new metric sockets and decided to skip 3/8. Full sets of 1/4 and 1/2 in shallow and deep. I don't use a impact gun but if I did I likely would have gone all with GP Duo and skipped the 1/2 stuff...

    Ratcheting bit driver handles

I was going down this same route with ratchet t-handle and screwdriver handle but now have decided to go with a 1/4" swivel head ratchet and a quick connect bit holder.

    Mid Grade Hand Tools

If you plan to use the impact lots maybe skip the 1/2 chrome sockets. Get nice GP Duo sockets that can pull double duty. Sent from my VTR-L09 using The Garage Journal mobile app

Is there still any American made file companys around?

CNC killed the file. When everything was manually machined each part coming off the machine would likely get hit with a file to break an edge. Now you just program a chamfer on the edge of everything.

    Zengineer's Wood Work Shoppe

Years ago when my dad insulated our garage back in Ontario he first just put up poly vapor barrier on the ceiling to hold the insulation up. A couple years later he then had it dry walled. The insulation and poly made a huge difference. We were working on snowmobiles a lot and it was heaven once...

    Metal Lathe

It's the kitchen we all wish Ikea actually made. We ripped this kitchen out of a house that was about to be torn down and got it along with a whole bunch of other cabinets and stuff for $250 bucks. It was intended to get used when we renovate our basement rental suite. After a number of years...

    Metal Lathe

I recently picked up a King 10x22 lathe, it is the same as a Grizzly G0602. I have not used it yet just finished getting it cleaned up and set up along with moving my little King mill. I build mountain bikes so this will get used to make pivot axles and parts for my jig. Also some custom bolts...
