So Can Your Floor Do This and Not Have Any Damage?

ok, So I've had VCT tile on my to do list in my new garage, but now I'm seriously considering ceramic or porcelin tile (as long as I can find it $1/sq ft. or less). Question for the pro tile installers - what did you do at the expansion joints? I have a 30' x 22' 3 car garage and there are 3...

Garage Air Lines: Rapid Air, Opinions ?

The general consensus is that they're dangerous. Blowouts can occur and that causes plastic shrapnel to go flying and possibly causing injury. The 300psi rating is for compressed liquid not gas. OSHA also frowns on it.

Company that doesn't allow you to use your tools

Not sure where you're located, but here in Cali, an employer must pay 2x minimum wage if they require you to supply your own tools. I'm just guessing here, but maybe they're trying to get around that?

Garage air kit, any thoughts on this

I agree wholeheartedly. We recently installed the airnet system here at the plant. The folks at Rapid Air are top notch. The stuff is super easy to work with as well. We had 2 local quotes for the install (galv pipe), one for ~$12,000 and the other quote for ~$10,000 for what we wanted to do...
