thanks, hopefully start installing this insulation over the holidays. ditto on the weather, we butchered 7 deer in here this fall. Hopefully the weather holds and we can make it out for some flintlock deer action. I live in Lebanon, just visited Carlisle yesterday.

Without them snow sticks to the steep metal roof until the weight, or a little sun, cause it to slip and avalanche onto your sidewalk. With these they give it a foothold so it stays on the roof longer (so is the plan). I'm sure that after too much snow it would still fall. Oddly enough, it's...

Picked up these vapor proof lights on Amazon ($25/ea), painted them black and installed. Figured they might survive a rogue basketball and I couldn't find a good deal on antique barn lights. Installed some snow guard so I don't have another avalanche this winter Scored 65 sheets of 3"...

    Not your usual Mini-Split install

I'm happy with my ducted ductless fujitsu system in my house addition. Unlike the cassette it allowed my run run heat/air to three areas. It costs a bit more than wall system but worth the flexibility. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Not a lot going on with the garage, slowly filling it with "stuff". I did pour a small sidewalk on the side and left some handprints for the kids to remember.

    welder recommendation

good advice there,,, I also picked up a Miller 135 on Ebay (local) with cart and tank for $350... great little welder. I've heard that these Hobarts are rebadged Millers, but I can't confirm that...The setup does look like mine though...

Building 30 x 36 Garage and Shop Space

I made mine 28x35.5 since anything over 1,000sqft (outside dimension) required a full building permit in my township. Off that they mesure inside footage since all appriasers, real estate agents and inspector in my area measure outside dimensions.

    The 1,000 footer - 28x36 (35.5) pole barn/garage build

You have to clear the air conditioner... on mine that would have been just over 10 ft so you need 12 foot walls minimum and 11ft doors, If I made a 2,000sqft barn then that might have been an option. With 1,000 sqft I currently have two vehicles, large work bench area and plenty of room for...

    The 1,000 footer - 28x36 (35.5) pole barn/garage build

Thanks, My camper isn't worth that much, and I just put a new roof on. I felt that it wasn't important enough to waste indoor space on the camper. A lean to roof might have worked though. With 10 foot wall it wouldn't have been tall enough. There is a local place that rents overhead storage for...
