I am doing direct bury from the house to the garage, no local permits or inspections required. My buddy is a supervisor for the gas company and states that it's perfectly legal and safe.

If you don't like it then sell the heater, keep the tank setup and get what works best.

I think mine is 26' because I have 7/12 pitch, 28' width with overhangs and 10ft walls. They have online calculators for truss construction, or the lumberyard will include them when you get a quote. Good luck guys, I still have a lot to do on mine but it's hunting season right now so no free time

do you have natural gas? Propane is cheap right now but isn't always... You could get a 500gallon tank outside and it would last a few years I bet.

For your neck of the woods I would look into one of these... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008DBQLN8/?tag=atomicindus08-20 Those wall units seem like a good idea for a basement, but not a shop...

    tried out plasti-dip.

I dipped the rims of my car since they were corroded but otherwise in good shape. Bought 4 cans from the dipyourcar website. Easy to do, hasn't peeled in the year i've been driving. I sprayed them while on my car, easy cleanup too...

Starting over... again. 30x40 shop build project = "Sutton Shop"

lots of posts on here about insulation, cost vs. performance seems to be the big question. Spray foam seems to be the best choice, but the price isn't cheap. I've seen foundation walls formed in special styrofoam forms as well.

good to hear, with all of the big box store coatings out there I opted for a company that actually could answer all of my questions... I also used their densifier on my basement and acrylic coating on my patio. I wish I would have acid stained my patio and then coated but otherwise it seems...

    USB outlets

I use these (Anker has great products) in the house. Most devices have different amp requirements and sometimes won't charge unless they "see" the proper amperage. This device adjusts as needed to accomodate such devices. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DVH62J2/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Doors are 10 wide x 8 tall... just pulled my truck in yesterday and it's so much nicer than 9 ft wide doors... 2 coats of their standard primer, covered really well, 3 gallons for first coat and 2 gallons for second. I added the course anti-skid to help with wet conditions. After all of the...

Yes, 28 wide... I also thought about 26x38... 24 is too narrow for me... My builder didn't mind making it 35.5, They just had to cut the metal... Never priced it anywhere else but you can take the plans I had and easily copy it...

After using the Legacy primer i'm sold and staying away from ANY box store products. In the end it costs the same but has a better track record.

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

Just do that math and figure out how much 1 batch will cover on your floor, cut in that area against the wall, dump the product directly on the floor (like a long snake), squeegee and backroll.... repeat. Did you get spiked shoes?

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

My floor was divided up by cut lines as well. I knew how much 1 gallon would cover and only worked that much at a time. I used Legacy Industrial and it was a 5 gallon kit so proper measuring was also required. Don't mix too much or you could find yourself wasting product if it dries too...
