    Calculating Landscape Rock

I get about 100sq ft per ton at 2.5”. It really does depend on the rock size and type though on coverage. Better to have to much than not enough! Until the end when you’re sick of moving it and you’ve still got a pile :). We get rid of a lot of our job site removals and leftovers free on...

How to bring dumptruck load of dirt to backyard?

I own a landscaping business and while we dump loads on the roads and tgen move them, the quantity of material you are talking about is going to take quite some time but can be done. We recently dumped 35 yds of pulverized dirt and moved it 150 ft from the road to a back yard over a couple...

    Calculating Landscape Rock

I’ve installed hundreds of tons of river rock. 1-2” rock we get about 100 sq ft per ton. If you go larger rock, it needs to be deeper to not see gaps or mixed with smaller stuff. We only use DeWitt Pro 5 landscape fabric, I would personally never use plastic of any sort.

    Soil Grading Question

There’s nothing fancy about that wall, just take off the courses where it needs to step down. You can even reuse the top caps if you’d like. Remove the extra dirt and grade the interior of the planter away. Problem solved.

    The Unofficial Wissota Grinder Thread

It runs smooth and quiet, so I’m assuming the bearings are good. When I first fired it up I was worried, one of the shields was rattling and vibrating, but a couple turns of a wing but, it was good to go. The grinder is all there it appears. I figured for $40 I couldn’t go wrong, but I’ve got...

    The Unofficial Wissota Grinder Thread

Found a 1/2hp e-7 today. Couldn’t pass it up. Appears to be all there. I don’t know when they went out of business but the wheels are also labeled as Wissota.

Is hardwood lumber doing the same thing or is it just production lumber going through the roof?

Need to grade porch slab away from house

I’d tear it out, probably can’t mud jack it since it’s poured over/under the siding. Then you can deal with it appropriately.

    chain saw chips

Even if you weren’t intentionally cutting with the grain, sometimes crotches swirl and you get some noodling and regular chips. No biggie, carry on.

    My first Snap-On

Sorry, I’m bowing out of this thread...good luck with the box. Right or wrong, Apparently it rubs me the wrong way someone would purchase a box like that and expect a warranty of any kind.

    My first Snap-On

I’d be curious what they say. I would consider myself lucky if all they did was replace the drawer slides if it were me. The other items certainly shouldnt be warrantied, it’s not their fault someone busted up the trim and handle caps on the box.

    Price of osb way up!

I was going to use osb on the inside of my shed, but I think I’ll drywall it now. In all reality, either covering will suffice. Here’s a pic on my phone from July 2019

    My first Snap-On

What are you trying to get warrantied? I’m not what’s originally warrantied. If I were purchasing that box I’d be expecting to pay for any parts.
