Picked this up at an estate auction today. I gave $75 for this, a 9" miter saw, a table saw, and a planer, all Craftsman, all working. I know I've seen a few guys on here with these saws and I had to jump on it. It's dirty but barely has a paint scuff.

Cordless is the future for everything except perhaps heavy equipment/road tractor work. I'm moving toward cordless right now. I would love to get the big air compressor off the back of my truck and have a cordless impact and a small compressor for tire inflation.

If run times are as good as they say that's pretty impressive. Chainsaw seems heavy at 13 pounds though, I think my Stihl MS390 only weighs a couple pounds more than that.

If you believe that all Harbor Freight sells is junk you either haven't been in one lately or are so blindly loyal to Snap-On that you refuse to believe that anyone else builds anything worth having. There is plenty of junk in there, certainly, but there is some nice stuff at very reasonable...

It would almost be worth buying and breaking just to see the look on the local SO guys face:scared:. He would go into orbit. The thing about the merchandise deal being inked by a former employee of SO may be true as that is what our local SO dealer says happened.
