175 foot pounds is pretty anemic these days for sure, but if I could get it going for a few bucks I wouldn't mind having it as a spare. I haven't played with it yet, but I'm not sure oil will do much for it as I kept it fairly well oiled. Worth a shot though.

I have one by Franklin Arsenal, I'm sure it's a rebrand. I think I gave $25-30 for it, it's a steel dial caliper and if it's good enough for reloading purposes it's perfectly fine for any other need I'll have for it.

Most sockets are shipped loose regardless of manufacturer. Even if they are in a tray when you buy them, they were dumped in a box or a bin after chroming with the other 10,000 sockets they made that day and towmotored to a warehouse. They haven't got some guy standing at the end of the line...
