    # of outlets allowed on 15amp breaker

Only under the 2014 NEC, nothing prior. Also, the 2014 insanely requires AFCI for DW and disp.

    # of outlets allowed on 15amp breaker

The Wizard is not an electrician nor an electrical professional. It seems he is throwing advice out simply by "what he was told" and without justification. Unfortunately this is pretty common on message boards like this.

Grounding rod for Detached garage needed?

It is important to remember, if a Ufer is used a NO other electrodes are required, at all. In fact, if rebar is present it MUST be used as an electrode. you do have to bond the building steel if the building has a steel structure.

    Electrical inspection question

I don't see this breaker being used as a switch, only a means of disconnect. The pressure switch will do the turning on and off.

    # of outlets allowed on 15amp breaker

What you have is perfectly fine and legal. What "could" be plugged in is nearly irrelevant. You could easily overload a circuit by plugging only two "small" heaters in. It is what is expected to be plugged in that would concern me.

    # of outlets allowed on 15amp breaker

Thanks for the pigeonhole, but you are off base here. Especially on the type of house. A tract house is typically wired WAY more austere than a custom home or one done to certain specifications. If an electrician really wanted to "leverage the code" he would put most of a floor on one circuit...

Should this ground wire be hooked up?

What does the bold part mean?? And the URD does not seem to enter the building, just the outside disconnect. Then SER into the panel.

Should this ground wire be hooked up?

If that wire exists, and there is an outside disconnect, it MUST be used. Just the fact that the wire is there negates the old "3-wire feeder" exception due to the "no other metallic paths" rule.

    Church Sanctuary

0-10V stuff is a royal PIA! Also, he has existing flood lights. Not exactly conducive to a 0-10V retrofit.

    Church Sanctuary

He says they are flood lights. Pretty safe assumption IMO.

    Light over electrical panel??

Thing is, that IS already a code requirement. There is just some flexibility as to location.

    Light over electrical panel??

It's so NOT. As Wylie said, an inspector cannot make you do something that isn't code. For instance, if there is a light nearby in the room, and he says it must be over the panel, as him where that is written so you can look it up for yourself. If he is a power mad inspector that will hassle...

    Light over electrical panel??

It's NOT code to have a light over the panel or a receptacle at the panel. Not unless you have some written amendment or local requirement. There are rules that you must have adequate lighting and a receptacle somewhere in the vicinity, but not what is being said. Alchymist, you are in PA. I'd...

    Sealant - Exterior Electrical Meter

The meter SHOULD NOT have been mounted directly to the OSB/sheathing. If it was I guess you have to deal with it the best you can. If I have to do a service before siding is up I put blocking behind the meter pan.

    Fluke T5-600

T5-1000 is my every day tester. Best all around for the $$ IMO.

Why in the South do you see combo Meter/Main panels outside??

I'd be willing to bet it was not always a bedroom.

What size breaker for these lights?

    Where is that written???

What size breaker for these lights?

How are you going to install them in a garage?? (I assume it's a garage or shot, no?) Those are meant to lay into a grid ceiling.
