    Craftsman Thin Profile Ratchet/Socket Modules

I want the thin profile ratchets to add to the collection but I've only ever seen one NOS US made thin profile ratchet, and that was in a hometown store. I wish I could buy the set and get US made ratchets.

GJ Giveaway: 10 Gearwrench 120XP ratchets!

My favorite Gearwrench tool is the 3/8" flex head ratchet that has become my favorite ratchet. I liked it so much that I bought a 4 pc. ratchet set to replace all of my Craftsman ratchets.

Where are the REAL Hot Deals?

I've scored some seriously good deals from Sears thanks to this forum, and Sears' seemingly random online pricing. You can't win 'em all and you can't expect great deals all day every day. If it is crossposted from SD, or SD catches wind of it, you better have already ordered... They don't need...

    Gearwrench Sale

It looks like that is the only item left. Everything else is sold out or back to regular price. I would have been all over the roto ratchets. Maybe next time. I've scored some amazing deals this year so I can't complain too much.

    Why I buy American Tools

Western workers will never be able to compete with a cost effectiveness of disposable employees who are paid pennies on the dollar for their labor. It won't last forever.

    Searz strikes again....

Times could be tough at PUT, and contracts could be down across the board? I just have a hard time believing this one wrench was the direct cause of 31 people being laid off... PUT was contracted to make these wrenches... They make other products too. Lying may be a bit harsh of an accusation...

    Searz strikes again....

Here's a link to the company that actually makes them: Penn United Technologies A 550+ employee company. Nowhere near the size of Apex and Sears, but certainly not a mom and pop operation. I think they have a case, the Cman is an obvious copy, but I think they're flat out lying about the jobs...

    Searz strikes again....

Not trying to be a ****, but I have a hard time believing 31 people were laid off as a direct result of a useless gimmick wrench being copied and sold by another company.

Menards is stepping up to the plate

I have the older style 26" combo and I've been very happy with it. The new stuff is nice, but I was able to get a combo and a side cabinet on clearance for the price of just a new combo.

    kobalt double drive

I bought one recently to try it out. I bought the two pack that came with the smaller driver as well for $20 bucks. The double drive gimmick only work if you're screwing in something that requires little to no torque. If it does, then it just becomes a bulky ratcheting driver at that point. I...

Almost all their Knipex stuff is on sale, most of it was a few bucks but some were up to $10 off. I picked up some pliers... Thinking about going back to get some more.
