Ah...so the new Wilton's are made-in-china. I would hope it's a better made-in-china versus a Harbor Freight vise made-in-china as those are about 1/2 the price of the Wilton I saw.

I don't understand the big price differences in Wilton Vise's. I saw this one at my local Dillion Supply store for $126 Is this their cheap end vise made in China or something? Why do some 5" Wilton's go for $300+, and this one brand new is $126...

I was walking around the back of Home Depot tonight and caught this stock out on the floor while they were trying to move it around. Wasn't suppose to be shown until Dec 26th according to the tag. Don't know a price but I bet it will be cheap as it's a Dec 26th sale item...

I used a Krylon spray paint called "Banner Red" - it's very close. Then I shot a clear over it. I'll post up pics soon for my new workbench. Turned out fantastic. Just need to buy a top and put it on.

Re: what did you do in your garage today? Do you happen to live in/near Raleigh? I saw a welding table on Craigslist. I was the 2nd 'replier' to the post. First person got it last night. $50 !!!!!!!! What a deal for them.

I see the 44" drawer is down to $349 ! Figures. Just bought mine 2 weeks ago for $359. $349 is the cheapest it's been in a long time. I wonder why it has "NEW" next to it - did they make some changes to it?

Yeah, I like the top box, but don't want to lose the space on my bottom box to place tools and still while I am working.

Honestly, I think his bench is very cheap for how much bench he has! He saved a fortune by not buying ready made. He bought 'generic' toolboxes. Now, if he had 4 Lista, and solid steel top, etc. He'd be talking $15,000 bench. But he doesn't and it's not. I love his bench, and could build it...

Funny! Never saw it. Really a lot of it's true IMO (and I've bought stuff from there). Some things there are great, others POC.

So, dumb newb question here. Why are these 'hard handle' sets coming back? What did they have before, and I guess I'm confused too, since the only screwdrivers I have have hard handles. What else is there?
