I prefer using the dial heads. I like the feel of the mechanical action and my old worn in set of mitotuyo calipers just feel great. I have a few of the digital ones but they stay in my box for most of their life.

A friend of mine bought this set when a tool wholesaler was going out of business. They are tungsten steel and include a MASSIVE collection of taps in one convenient kit. I have a complete set of piece meal Greenfield and CTD Taps for the shop but I am looking for an affordable all around set...

Also the 19mm, 17mm, and 14mm are sizes for Audi CV's and for DSG drain plugs; plus other random jobs on European vehicles. Much more common then one would expect.

Snap on mid length 3/8" sockets, The first time I used the 16mm to remove a bell housing bolt in a tight spot; The damn thing cracked and I thought that I had stripped the bolt. Subsequently, the 13mm from the same set lived the same short life removing a manifold to turbo nut. Haven't had any...
