What kind of tools have you found in the road??

On Thursday I “found” a tool in the road, not on the side of the road where I wish it had been. I should actually say the tool found me. I’ll explain. I was about 20 miles from my place headed to dump with tree cuttings. All I had in the back of the pickup was cuttings – nothing else, no tools...

How to deal with broken Pella window pane?

I don't know much about windows but ventilation is a good thing. Depending on the direction it faces you may want to consider "low E" and/or tinting.

Vitamin Pill like box for holding bolts during repair?

    a new garage/home after Harvey

From what I've read the Houston area is/was a flood plain area but the city planners didn't plan for it. And, insurance companies are in business to make money, not give it out. To the OP, hope your new place works out good for you.

    Ryobi Tools Randomly Quit

Agreed, I've been using Ryobi 18v tools at home and for work since around 2007. Good tools IMO. Most of the tools are the older dark blue ones many picked up off of CL. My batteries are all Li. The Li cuts out once the charge is low as others have said.

    adjoining property owner encroachment

What a mess. This is the kind of thing where HOAs can be useful - but I still hate them. I would sent the new owner a nice but firm letter (a.k.a. Notice) of the problems and ask that they be addressed. Then see if she has been sued before. Just because you file a suit doesn't mean you end up in...
