    Tips for drilling metal

So I’ve gotten much better at drilling metal since reading this tread. I’ve actually gotten consistent results with drilling. I’m able to get huge chunks of metal coming out and quite often even the huge spirals. Now my boss saw me drilling and when I stepped up to a larger size bit, i messed up...

    Opinions on oiling air tools

Take it apart and put some grease on the hammers. They’re actually pretty simple

Any new 3/8 M12 FUEL Ratchet owners??

I just got mine today. Will post pics of you are interested. Can’t say much about it because I got it about an hour before I left work, it’s big, but it will definitely be useful to not drag an air hose around

Sk more expensive than snap on

Oh you totally called it. Hey at least their website is easy to use. Has anyone ever attempted to find a tool on snap one website it's awful

Sk more expensive than snap on

Well I'll be damned. I genuinely assumed that that's what sk sold for. Makes sense not to compete with distributors. Honestly I'm happy to be proven wrong

What tools have you had stolen?

Oh I got one. Luckily it doesn't involve me. A few years back I worked at a rather large Honda dealership, about 20 techs. I guess a year before I started the place was under construction for a short period of time, and was left pretty easy to get into. Well there was about 20 techs at the...

Sk more expensive than snap on

Sorry I just realized my snap on website pictures were blurry so the 3/4 set is 1275, and the torque wrench is 809

Sk more expensive than snap on

Needing some 3/4 tools, I wanted to look for a brand I know is high quality. Refusing to pay the insane tool truck prices I thought of sk. I was shocked to see that their prices are actually MORE expensive than snap on. What the hell. Granted the sk set has a few more sockets than the snap on so...

    Opinions on oiling air tools

I've always oiled my air tools religiously, usually just a drop or two when I first use them for the day. The old timer at the shop says he never oils his air tools because it makes all the crud in the air lines get caked on the inside of the tool. He does still use some rather oil tools and I...

Snap on 1/4 cordless ratchet is great

I used to have the Milwaukee 1/4 in. Way too slow. Traded it for the snap on and was extremely impressed

    1/2" impact question

Some people like them but I can't stand the nitrokat impacts. The ring that holds the sockets on is awful, and there's no ability to feather the trigger. Mg725 is a good gun, so is pt850. I have the 2235ti, and it's great. I have co workers who have had mg725 forever and it's still kicking...

    Tools you appreciate

Maybe not a "tool" but the oxyacetylene torch. My job would be near impossible without it

Anyone ever heard of air nesco

Here it is again. If this is true from such a cheap impact this may be the best deal ever. This is stronger than my 3/4 Pictured is specs for the air nesco and the ir2235timax

Variable torque, screw impact driver. Do they exist?

Honestly best way is to just feather the trigger

    Recommendations for air hammers

I really like my snap on one. It definitely trumps all the others. Never used a big nasty tho, but it definitely beats matco Cornwell mac ir etc

Are mac impact wrenches any good

I thought I'd revive my thread. It's kinda hilarious, working on cars I always was using my 1/2 gun (2235timax and m18 2763) like crazy!! Here my 3/8 cordless is my go to. I thought I'd be whipping around 3/4 and inch guns all day. Also another shocker to me was all these sae bolts. I used...
