    Upgrading Milwaukee impact wrench

Full time auto mechanic, I have a gen 1 fuel 1/2 impact, and am curious whether it’d be worth upgrading to the gen 2 because I’ve got a bad 1/2 gun, the gen 1 Still works for 80% of what I do, and if it doesn’t work my 2235timax does the trick. Has anyone else had gen 1 and bought the gen 2? I...

    Snap On 14.4v

It goes either way, commenter above me prefers his m12 over his 14.4, I’m the opposite. I also own both. It’s a pain, but I love the rocker switch on the snap on, and the power for me on certain tools is higher, Milwaukee states there’s is higher but I have a m12 fuel 3/8 ratchet and a 14.4 3/8...

    Wrenches: Williams vs Blue Point.

If you use them professionally with a snap on driver I suggest springing for blue point or snap on, the flank drive plus is a nice feature. Plus, you will break them eventually and the replacements are nice.

Looking for Metric tap and Die set recomendation

I have snap ons rebrand of this. They are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over. If you have a snap on rep I recommend spending more and buying it from him, I’ve broken a few.

    MG1200 vs awp075 vs IR2145

For what it’s worth I have the mg1250 and it did whatever I asked from it for about 2 months lol. Then completely stopped spinning. I noticed a brown substance on the trigger switch, and when I got the gun back from snap on they reported it had a “mud like substance” inside of it. So I don’t...

Problem with snap on ratchet wrenches

I’ve had to warranty a few of my snap on ratcheting wrenches I’ve had for a few years. The problem is all the new warranties ones I get (there’s been a couple of the same sozes) are all really hard to ratchet to the point where I have to break them free on a nut to get them moving again. Idk if...

    Milwaukee Surge

I guess it’s just a quieter impact driver. I never thought impact drivers were that loud in the first place. It’s a lot weaker too

    Milwaukee reliability

I’m thinking about getting the Milwaukee fixed then taking it home. I don’t think it’s up to daily use.

    Milwaukee reliability

I also torque them afterward with my snap on torque wrench, just use them not to damage lugs. I think the torque stick might damage it because it hits a lot faster than my airs. Now it just won’t take anything off tho and vibrates like crazy. Even when not using a torque stick

    Milwaukee reliability

It feels like it’s hitting hard, but the thing just vibrates like crazy, I’ve often wondered if maybe using torque sticks on it to install wheels is hurting it somehow? I’ve thought about getting the new 2767, but it’d be a waste. I have a 2235timax and full on shop air at work. I’d like to just...

    Milwaukee reliability

I have the Milwaukee fuel 1/2 m2763, I’ve had it about a year and a half, it’s been in for warranty more times than I can remember. I have 4 other m18 tools, and 3 m12 tools. All are fuel, but this 1/2 has really disssapointed me. It is used on cars daily, am I expecting to much of it? Lately...

Combining two 3/8 air hoses to one fitting to power 3/4 gun

Ideally I want to keep my 1/2 coupling at the tool, but run two 3/8 air lines to the tool. I’m wondering if it’s possible and would run the tool
