    Size and type of pipe/duct for providing fresh combustion air for a water heater

    I have a 40 gallon natural gas water heater. Aside from the combustion vent, there is also a 5"x10" vent on the ceiling, and a 5X10" vent that comes from the ceiling to 12" above the floor. Same for the closet my furnace is in. It is "to code".
