Regarding maintenance and lubrication of this lift.Can you guys recommend the best lubricant for the ladder bars( where the safty locks engage).Im currentyl using white lithium greese but seems like is not doing the job.Also should the cables be lubricated as well??? Thanks

Being a drywall finisher myself. If it froze only one time, just give it a good mix in a bucket and its ready to use.

Always rest car/weight on the safty locks.Dont leave the weight supported on the hydrolics.

Should be no problem just as long as its resting on a lock and not on the hydrolics alone.

I have roughly just under 11 foot ceiling.My door hangs about 3 inches from the cieling. Its more than enough room for cars.I can lift any car and completly stand under it with no problems.When i have my mini van on the lift, ill have to slightly cruch down.

I like the post design cause its easier to double check and make sure all the locks are engaged correctly. Regarding stability the channel design on the Bend-Pak seems more stable.

$1800 for the HD-9....... No way BS
