    L3000 and AX25 - new concrete

The shop is going to be a work shop. I do a bit of woodworking but mostly automotive and motorcycle. Things like an engine swap or custom metal bumpers is not uncommon. I'm hoping with a densifier and then tinted sealer I'll prevent stains. I'm testing in the unfinished shop bathroom right...

Getting Internet in my New Barn

I used TPlink EAP110, TPlink N300, and outdoor wifi antenna BAS 2301. This setup covers over 200' from house wifi to metal shop. Works great inside the shop getting same throughput as house wifi. Now my wifi covers my entire yard as a side benefit. Lastly no issues with cat5/5e/6 for...

    L3000 and AX25 - new concrete

Well the AX25 is a dud when tinted. I've reached out to the company about this issue and they said put another coat on. Today I applied the third coat of AX25 on concrete without L3000 denisifer and the 1st coat over L3000 denisifer coated concrete. The photos tell show the disappointment. I...

The Tool You Don't Want to Need: First Aid Kit

Members, a couple of pieces of advice. 1. If you live within an hour of a hospital don't ever use quikclot. Also quikclot does expire. IF you think quikclot is required use a tourniquet. 2. ICE... if burns or serious injury exist ice is 99% the best thing for it. Ice will be difference...

    L3000 and AX25 - new concrete

Ok so 2nd coat of AX25 applied today. I'm not sold on this tinted sealer being backrolled, even with the sponge roller the roller marks don't dissappear. Any advice? I'll also ask foundationarmor. The L3000 has cured... as you can tell almost no change to concrete after its application.

    30x40x12 Great Value shop.

Wow I'm seriously behind on updates. Here is an older photo...20ft panels 12.6ft in the air with sketchy Amazon drywall lift all alone! Check out my flooring thread I just started: L3000 and AX25 - new concrete

    L3000 and AX25 - new concrete

Ok all, since I couldn't find this on the internet I'm going to post it here. I have a new concrete shop, sub 1 year old, no usage. In the corner of said shop is a bathroom [unfinished]. This test is of the unfinished bathroom. The main shop has Foundation Armor L3000 denisifer...not that...

What type of duct for central heat/ac in shop?

For what it's worth my 30x40x12 with 2 10x10 overhead doors and 1 man door with 1.5" closed cell spray foam is heated and cooled in mid Missouri with 1 18k mini split. 3 ton is way overkill unless you are seeking fast recovery and short cycling once it reaches set point. Also the sock vents...

    Finished Concrete Sealant Question!

Aj - was it a sealer or denisifer? What brand sealer? Denisifers go away. Sealers vary.. matte, gloss, natural, tinted, etc.

Ghostshield 4500 vs Foundation Armor L3000

Garage flooring some of your reviews is what has led me down this rabbit hole. Before my shop and this site concrete was concrete. Now it's about dusting, density, color, stain resistance, etc. Armorpoxy - yes I understand the densifier should not change anything appearance wise. Application...

Ghostshield 4500 vs Foundation Armor L3000

Armorpoxy you are getting ahead of me...I was wondering if one is better/ different from the other before I consider a combo product. A denisifer alone may solve my goals but I want to have options. If I don't get feedback I'm going to go the cheaper route for the densifier. I have...

Ghostshield 4500 vs Foundation Armor L3000

Anyone have input which is better to use before a sealer? I have 1200sqft power towel smooth concrete that I want to denisify before applying a sealer. I've read both technical data 4500 says 100% actives and L3000 says 25% solids. Does anyone have any information that says they are...

    30x40x12 Great Value shop.

Once I finish the ceiling then I'm blowing in R30 cellouse and installing an 18k GE Caliber mini split [full heat to 5 degree F without pan heater]. Mud, tape, kick plates, concrete finish, paint, then finally use it for fun.

    30x40x12 Great Value shop.

Slowly making progress. Between work, school, honey due list, and family I just don't seem to have enough time. Putting up 20.6ft metal panels alone isn't too bad, just lots of up and down the ladder. The solar is doing great as well. I'll make sure I'll post some more of my diy solar...

NEW Soft Launch TruAlloy Aluminum Urethane Garage Coating

Can I be real for a moment? $1 per sqft to seal and color concrete flooring! Lost all luster for me. I mean dirt cheap sealers can be colored and flakes even now and cost under .25cent sqft. I spend over $9k on a 5600sqft shop for epoxy so I have some experience.

    Eagle Gloss Coat?

Dave - there is a good YouTube video of it. Reach out to him, definitely an option vs the other floor coating options.

Because my wife said yes! 30x40 pole building

Jcrock - I don't plan to use the same floor sealer as you but am curious is your floor slick? A lot of sealers say they get very slick, especially when wet. Great shop overall. How is the heating/ cooling working for you with the 80k btu heater?

Another can't decide on coating post. Help

RMathews- just a suggestion all the epoxy companies are going be generous and say their product is great/the best without down talking others, but none tell you why. They all tell you what the product does but not why YOU need it. Just think about what you use your shop 99% of the time and use...
