    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

DeWalt just announced it on their FB page today, I was waiting for one but ended up buying their smaller booster pack with built in compressor a couple months ago. I’ll have to get some updated pics of my collection. Picked up a few more things last week including a vacuum, a couple of 9ah...

DeWalt vacuum deal at Tractor Supply

Very happy with it so far. My wife used it to vacuum her car and my truck, then I used it to vacuum the bed of my truck. All of that and didn’t even use up 1/2 of a 5ah battery!

DeWalt vacuum deal at Tractor Supply

Not sure if this is at all locations... Been thinking about picking one of these up for a bit to make it easier for my wife to clean the car interiors in the driveway. They are anywhere from $130-$200 here in Canada. We were in Michigan yesterday and just happened to see one in Tractor...

What Is Growing Out of My Concrete Floor

I’ve got some in my basement here in Ontario, Canada too. First time I’ve seen it since moving in 7 years ago. We had a mid winter thaw recently and it showed up where there was some water on the floor.

Sold it last night for $130. Worked well for me as Amazon sells them for $150 plus tax.

    Free Milwaukee radio!!

I expected a response like that! I figured it would have too... but I guess not. I think I’m just going to sell this one.

    Free Milwaukee radio!!

Thought that would get your attention... so yesterday I won a Milwaukee M18 jobsite radio (https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2890-20). I picked it up tonight, and while is seems like a great radio.... I’m a 100% diehard DeWalt fan. Having a Milwaukee radio almost seems...

Does anyone know the official powder coat color to match Milwaukee’s red?

My father-in-law bought one of them earlier this month and the top and bottom aren't even the same shade of red.

Will curtains slow heat loss while the door is open?

All I have is a 5000W ceiling mounted heater, so it takes a while to catch up. Next year won't be as big of a deal because I plan to run a line and install a natural gas heater.

Will curtains slow heat loss while the door is open?

I've finally got some permanent heat in my garage. I don't use it for our daily drivers, but I do store my snowblower in there. We will soon be getting more snow, so many days I will need to open the 9x7' door to get my walk behind snowblower in and out... some times multiple times a day...

    Painting metal cabinets.

I bought three cabinets similar to that earlier this year... then sold one and made almost all my money back! I was bored one evening so decided to paint a Jays logo. Make sure you use a good etching primer and clean the surface very well. I learned the hard way that the paint won’t adhere...

    Electric Heat

I did some more research and it seems that the Princess Auto unit is the same as a NewAir G80. Lots of good reviews for it online, so I might as well keep the extra $130 and buy the PA one. Thanks everyone for your help!

    Electric Heat

I have decided to go with a 5000W ceiling heater and have it narrowed down to these two options below, just trying to decide which is the better choice. Option 1: Name brand heater, but higher price and I'd have to buy more wire...

    Electric Heat

Thanks everyone for all the info, keep it up!! I am just taking it all in for now, before I make a decision. My father-in-law just texted me and he actually bought the 7500W one that I mentioned in the first post for his garage. One thing I did forget to mention, is that one end of my...

    Electric Heat

Thanks for the info so far. I am in Midwestern Ontario in Canada. I just grabbed my last bill, and my current rates are: On Peak: $0.132000 Off Peak: $0.065000 Mid Peak: $0.095000 So I guess that would average about $0.09/kWh.
