The problem w/ the bottle jacks is clearance. The bottle jacks are often to tall to fit under alot of the smaller cars.

I had the same problem. I got a sensor package from a garage door guy. There is a battery operated sensor that you put on the door & it sends a signal to a small (3" x 3") box that has a transformer that you plug in. The box has a red & green led light on it, green door is down, red the door is up.

Remember, when the outside temps get warmer, there will be a larger draw (a/c loads)on the system in you area & the voltage will probley drop during those times.

Ok here's the story, I used the home depot type epoxy on my garage floor about 6 years ago. It has worn of in the center area where the car sits. It's to big of a area to try & just redo that section. The epoxy isn't flaking of it's just wore out. Now the ?, can I just power wash the floor down...

I assembled my bend-pak lift without a engine hoist. I had my wife & 2 boys help. If you are bolting your lift to the ground it makes easier. Matt Murphy

If your worried about a wall fire, you should have electrical piping. Or put in a arc-fault circuit breaker.

If this is a home, you can use #2/0 copper, if part of it is outside, make sure the wire has a thwn rating. If this is a commerical application, it needs to be #3/0 copper. If the pipe is metal, make sure you use grounding bishings & then a copper jumper wire (#4). Also make sure you ground it...
