My view on needing to cover a portable generator when you are using it. The fuel tank helps to keep the engine protected from the elements.

The issue appears to have been a bad regulator. Once the regulator was replaced I I reinstalled the old solenoid and plunger, it's been working like it should. I believe the plunger was sticking because the rubber surface got a ridge in it from the excessive gas pressure over the last 6 months...

It started without assistance today.

Regulator is new. SV? Solenoid Valve? I kept the old solenoid and plunger I replaced on June 2. I reinstalled the old ones. I'm thinking the plunger is sticking. There is a rubber like surface on the plunger. Is there any kind of lubricant that can be applied?

Swapped the old plunger and solenoid & It fired right up. Maybe the plunger was sticking from the excess pressure of the old regulator?

Yes, the jet was swapped. The generator was installed at the end of March 2018. With the regulator changed out, I'm still getting the overcrank error and if you tap on the solenoid when cranking, it will start. Could the solenoid be bad? Could the plunger be sticking, from months of high...

Front sway bar end links on the 2016 Explorer Sport. Found out the replacement tire installed Monday was the wrong size, so I spent an hour & a half 🤬 at the tire shop getting it replaced.

Pulled the 2 year old battery out of the 2018 Ford Edge, took it to the Ford dealership to have it tested, picked up the replacement battery (free because it's within the 36 month free replacement part of the warranty), and installed it in the car.
